1, the edge of pig ear edema, watery liquid, how to deal with?

Answer: this is a typical symptom of Haemophilus parasuis. Due to inflammation caused by local infection of Haemophilus parasuis, if the redness and swelling is serious and there is watery or pus-like fluid in the bag, please first remove the liquid from the bag with an aseptic needle. Then local or systemic injection of Haemophilus sensitive antibiotics (such as long-acting florfenicol injection, ceftiofur sodium, etc.) can be cured.

2. How to distinguish blue ear disease from epidemic area or non-epidemic area?

Answer: can be identified through three laboratory methods: first, through the laboratory detection of blue-ear disease antigen, if the test result is positive, prove that the pig farm is infected with blue-ear disease, it can be designated as the epidemic area of blue-ear disease; second, if the pig farm has never been immunized against blue-ear disease vaccine, the laboratory antibody test is positive, it is proved to be an epidemic area; third, if the laboratory test of blue-ear disease wild virus antibody is positive, prove that the pig farm is an epidemic area. If the pig farm is infected with blue-ear disease, it is recommended that live attenuated vaccine against blue-ear disease should be exempted.

3. What if piglets have diarrhea?

Answer: first of all, distinguish what causes diarrhea. Diarrhea of bacteria (such as Escherichia coli and Salmonella) can be done by oral gentamicin or norfloxacin (norfloxacin) in drinking water or by injection of Shirojing injection. There are many reasons for viral diarrhea, such as atypical swine fever, pseudorabies, rotavirus infection and so on, which can cause piglets diarrhea, which requires ordinary farmers to do a good job in the immunization of these vaccines. if it is a conservation pig, you can improve the immunity by adding an immune synergist-yeast immune polysaccharide to the whole group feed, 2-3 kg per ton feed. If it is unweaned piglets with diarrhea, 2-3 kg of this product can be added to the full price feed of sows, and it is best to add broad-spectrum antibiotics such as 2 kg of liganmycin or 150 g of Zhiyuanjing + 300 g of doxycycline for all piglets. Add 10-14 days to control secondary infection.

4. If high fever occurs in pigs, what if the therapeutic effect of antibiotics is not obvious?

Answer: this may be caused by viral diseases such as classical swine fever and blue-ear disease. It is recommended that routine vaccines such as classical swine fever, blue-ear disease and pseudorabies must be immunized well. In addition, immune synergists can be added to the full-price feed of breeding pigs, care pigs and growing pigs for a long time to increase disease resistance. Sick pigs use long-acting broad-spectrum antibiotics to control secondary infection.

5, the sow diet is normal the first day, the next day suddenly do not eat, a little vomiting, no fever, no other symptoms, how to do?

Answer: sows may be due to recent weather changes caused by indigestion, it is recommended to give pigs oral digestive drug "maternal raw", in addition to sows injected with vitamin B12 injection, the effect is faster.

6. The fifth disease occurred in the pig. What should I do?

Answer: it is suggested that large-scale farms should carry out closed production, strictly restrict the entry and exit of idle and miscellaneous personnel, thoroughly wash and dry pig vehicles for more than 2 hours, and strictly disinfect them; at the same time, the whole field should strengthen disinfection and take pigs once a day. Compound iodine disinfectants such as "Yum" or peracetic acid such as "Huifuxing" have the best effect on killing foot-and-mouth disease virus. In order to enhance the resistance of pigs, if disease No. 5 occurs, it is necessary to isolate diseased pigs as soon as possible, disinfect them twice a day, and use "Yum" solution to spray the affected pigs directly to promote healing and reduce transmission.

7. What if the reserve sow is not in estrus?

Answer: reserve sows must first meet the conditions of estrus: the body weight is more than 120kg or the age is more than 8 months. If the above conditions are met and still do not have estrus, you can inject 2ml/ head of chloroprostol (placenta). If you still do not come into estrus after 14 days, use a dose of pregnant horse serum or inject according to the instructions.

8. Do sows want to shoot blue-eared seedlings? What kind of seedlings?

A: at present, most pig farms in China are positive for blue-ear disease. It is recommended that live attenuated vaccine against blue-ear disease should be given to breeding pigs four times a year, and then strengthened 28 days after the first immunization, and then every three months.
