Acne that occurs in the tongue and gums often forms ulcers. When acne occurs in the throat, bronchi, lungs and forestomach or true stomach mucosa of some sheep, the diseased sheep die of septicemia due to secondary bacterial or viral infection. Some sick sheep see acne bleeding, showing black acne: there are also cases of acne eruption with suppuration and gangrene, forming deep ulcers, malodorous, often malignant, and the case fatality rate is as high as 20% and more than 50%.

1. Avoid contact with sheep and goats with sheep pox.
