Raw oysters are one of the most popular seafood in China, and artificial farming has become popular because of the surge in market demand. At present, there are several popular breeding methods, such as post, foot insertion, hanging rope, floating raft and so on. Here, the pro-agricultural network will briefly introduce how to use these methods to breed.

1. Post

Here generally choose cement column, low cost, good adhesion effect, bulky and not easy to be driven by sea water. First of all, the surface of the cement column should be as rough as possible, with a size of 2m high and a diameter of 30cm. In this way, the oysters will be very adsorptive. Secondly, before moving to the bottom of the sea, the cement column needs to be placed in the silt zone for a period of time. This is called a maintenance column, which can provide a good nutritional basis for newborn oysters. We should pay attention to regular inspection and correct the dumping phenomenon in time. It is suitable for the seafloor with fast flow rate.

2. Floating raft

This is usually tied together with wood and bamboo, with buoys floating on the sea surface. When the size of the raft is about 5m to 8m, the overall output will be affected, and the cost will be too high. It is generally fixed at the bottom of the sea with a rope to avoid drifting with the waves. They can also be connected with each other with ropes to avoid breaking the undersea rope and not being able to find it. The distance between the two rafts is about 20m. It is more practical in the calm shallow sea.

3. Bamboo arrangement

This is one of the easiest for everyone to understand, which is to plant bamboo on the bottom of the sea, provided that the bamboo has been treated in various ways. Generally, every 6 bamboo is a pile, showing a funnel-shaped buckle above the sea mud. The bamboo length is controlled at about 1.5m and the diameter is more than 10cm. The area close to the sea mud needs to be better secured with a rope. It is generally suitable for the bottom of the sea where there is much soft mud and the sea water flows slowly.

4. Longline

This is a less troublesome way of using materials such as ropes and floating objects. Generally more suitable for open sea aquaculture, because the resistance to wind and waves is OK, it can also be used for open sea aquaculture. The two ends of the rope are fixed in the dark shape of the sea floor, and the middle is used for breeding. The middle width is generally 40-50m, on both sides to see the sea depth of the selected address, generally every 2 meters drooping breeding rope and equipped with floating objects, the length of the rope is about 3-5 meters. Check that the ropes are intertwined every day.

The cost of oyster culture is not high, mainly because it should be checked frequently. At present, the seedlings used are generally wild seedlings, these farming methods are generally suitable for the sea, and the way of river farming will be updated later.
