Prevention and treatment of fungal depilation in rabbits
Rabbit fungal hair removal, also known as fungal dermatosis, can generally be divided into two categories, one is microspore fungal dermatosis, the other is tinea caused by trichophyton.
Microspore fungal dermatosis
Rabbit microspore fungal dermatosis has the characteristics of strong infectivity, zoonosis and difficult to cure. The main damage to small rabbits and lactating rabbits are thin and tender parts, such as nose, lips, circles under the eyes, ears, anus, vagina and breasts, etc., and in severe cases can reach the whole body. In addition to depilation, there is an obvious reddish-brown scab.
It is difficult to eradicate microspore fungal dermatosis in rabbits. if the disease occurs, it does not need treatment, burning or deep burial treatment as soon as possible, and strict rabbit farm disinfection to prevent future disease.
Tinea caused by Trichophyton rubrum
In the early stage, erythema appeared on the nose, orbit, ear root, back and tail skin of the diseased rabbits, followed by a well-defined white thick scab. After local depilation, the skin is dry and dull. Scabs and scales appear in the rubbing parts of the head, neck, back and tail root of diseased rabbits, and the hair is loose and easy to pull out or fall off.
The disease is generally mild, the speed of development and the degree of damage is relatively mild, can be used by ordinary people with anti-beriberi drugs external rub, can at the same time add griseofulvin 40mg / kg in the feed, continuous use half a month stop half a month, and then use 1 / 2 courses of treatment.
