Goldfish is an ornamental fish evolved from crucian carp, with many colors, such as red, orange, purple, blue, ink, silver, and five flowers, which are divided into four major strains: literature, grass, dragon and eggs. now goldfish from all over the world are introduced directly or indirectly from China, let's take a look at how goldfish are not easy to die!

How to raise goldfish?

1. Picking fish: a good goldfish looks full, with round fins at the ends, symmetrical body and complete scales, and rich colors. The ancients said that "the body is thick and even, the tail is big and straight, the eyes are called, the body is straight and round, and the mouth is closed and wide." and then select it according to the characteristics of the species.

2. Equipment: goldfish culture pays attention to shallow basin and big mouth, so it is necessary to choose if goldfish is raised in an aquarium, the best water depth in the aquarium for raising big fish is between 25cm and 30cm, and the fry is between 20cm and 25cm. Other hardware include siphon, oxygen pump and lighting equipment.

3. Raising water: before raising goldfish, you should first raise good water. The water for raising goldfish is very critical. The most suitable temperature for raising goldfish is 20-28 degrees, and the best range of PH value is 7.5-8.5. Tap water should be used after about 24 hours of exposure or 2 days of drying.

4. Feeding: feeding is the key to raising goldfish. It is necessary to know what to eat and how to feed goldfish. A regular diet is directly related to the healthy growth of goldfish. Although goldfish are omnivores, we should pay attention to the reasonable collocation of nutrition. Don't feed too single.

5. Water quality: water quality is the key to raising goldfish. Change the water and clean the filter cotton in time, usually once every three or four days in summer, once a week in spring and autumn, and once every half a month in winter, you can change it every time. Salvage excess bait and feces to reduce water pollution.

What kind of feed does goldfish eat?

1. Animal feed: animal feed is one of the most favorite and nutritious feeds for goldfish, with many varieties.

① fish insects: fish insects are zooplankton that live in sewage ponds, ponds and rivers, and are rich in nutrition. Goldfish fed with fresh red worms develop faster and have bright colors than those fed with other alternative feeds, and the incidence of fish disease decreases accordingly.

② Cyclops: the advantages of Cyclops are strong vitality, fast swimming, and can survive for several days, but the disadvantage is small size, which makes goldfish difficult to prey, and Cyclops can bite small fry, so it is best to scald them with boiling water when feeding them.

③ paramecium: paramecium is a small, cylindrical, single-celled organism, which is most suitable for feeding newly hatched fish fry, but it is not easy to find and difficult to catch, so it should be reared artificially in order to supplement its deficiency.

④ larvae: the larvae of mosquitoes, which are red in color, rich in nutrition, expensive in price, not easy to preserve, and need to be refrigerated.

⑤ water earthworms: water earthworms are rich in protein, fat and vitamins, and the body is small, soft, bright red or crimson, so it is easy to be swallowed by goldfish, but it must be rinsed repeatedly before feeding, and if possible, the mud will be spit out for a few days before feeding.

2. Plant feed: of course, animal feed is the most ideal feed for goldfish, but in the case of lack of animal feed for a variety of reasons, plant feed can become an auxiliary feed for emergency or life maintenance, such as Wuping, aquatic plants and so on.

3. Synthetic feed: synthetic feed is a synthetic goldfish feed, which requires complete nutrients to meet the needs of the growth and development of goldfish. The main ingredients should include protein, sugar, fat, inorganic salts and vitamins.

Disease prevention and treatment of goldfish

1. Fish plague: at present, there is no specific drug treatment for fish plague, only to do a good job of prevention. Every year in the early spring season, goldfish should often be basked in the sun to strengthen their physique. If fish plague occurs in goldfish, it should be isolated or eliminated as soon as possible.

2. Baiyun disease: bathe the diseased fish with 1RU 50000 potassium permanganate solution for 10 to 30 minutes each time. Baiyun disease induced by low temperature can be washed with 2-2.5% salt water for 15 minutes and then put back into clean water, repeated. Seriously, it can be washed with 1% salt water for 1 hour.

3. Skin rot: scrubbing or smearing the affected area with a brush dipped in disinfectant (such as red mercury or high concentration potassium permanganate solution), once every other day, 3 or 4 times can be cured.

4. Rotting tail disease: it can occur all the year round. The caudal fin of diseased fish rots like a broom. Scrubbing the affected area with 1% malachite green can be cured once every other day, 3 or 4 times. It is forbidden to use malachite green when treating edible fish.

5. White spot disease: soak in 0.5-1% baking soda for 10 minutes for 15 minutes. As the resistance of juvenile fish to the solution is weaker than that of adult fish, the bathing time should be appropriately shortened. If the condition is serious, bathing once or twice a day.

6. Water mildew: goldfish should often be exposed to the sun, put in appropriate amount of salt for sterilization and disinfection when changing water, avoid scratching the fish when fishing, treat diseased fish with 1% salt water for 30 minutes at a time, and sprinkle it in the pond with 1 ∶ of salt water every week can play a preventive role.

7. Vertical scale disease: put the diseased fish in the same amount of 2% salt and 3% sodium bicarbonate mixed aqueous solution for 10 minutes, twice a day for 2 ~ 3 days. Or add 250 grams of mashed garlic to 50 liters of water and bathe the diseased fish several times to cure the disease.

8. Bubble disease: bubble disease is caused by too much dissolved gas in the water. The diseased fish should be immediately moved into cooler water for a period of time to return to normal.

9. Fish lice disease: the water used in fish ponds should be filtered to prevent fish lice and their larvae from flowing into fish ponds or fish culture containers. 2.5% trichlorfon per cubic meter of water should be sprinkled in the whole pond after it is found that fish lice are parasitic.
