However, malachite green and its metabolites have side effects such as high toxin, high residue, high carcinogenicity, high teratogenicity and mutagenicity, while nitrofuran drugs such as furacilin, furazolidone and their metabolites AOZ have mutagenic and carcinogenic effects.

Where are the turbot fish distributed?

The turbot is naturally found along the European coast on the eastern side of the Atlantic Ocean and is commonly found in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, from the north latitude 68 °N away from the coast of Iceland, south along the coast of Scandinavia, to 30 °N away from the coast of Morocco. It is also distributed along the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea, mainly in the North Sea, inhabiting sandy, gravel or mixed sediment areas with a water depth of 20 to 70 meters.

Identification of poisonous turbot fish

1, look at the fish scales, the injured fish will turn green after soaking in a high concentration of malachite green solution, and in serious cases, the grass will grow green.

2. Look at the fins. Normally, the fins should be white, and the fins soaked in malachite green solution are also easy to color.
