With the development of economy, people's living standards have been significantly improved. in this case, everyone's pursuit of life has also changed to a certain extent, paying more attention to the quality of life. therefore, the demand for green food pheasant raw and rare birds is increasing, and the black water pheasant is one of them, but due to the lack of breeding technology, the annual output of the black water pheasant is not very high. So today, the pro-agricultural network is here to teach you how to raise black water chickens correctly.

1. Culture conditions

Most of the wild black water chickens come from the northwest and northeast of China, because the living conditions of black water chickens need reservoirs, rivers or reeds, where there are a lot of fish, shrimps and insects in hi, so they don't have to worry about food. In fact, the breeding of black water fowl is relatively simple, but why is it that survival is still not high? that is because there are still many people who think that black water pheasants are just like ordinary poultry, as long as they can be kept dry in the market, but in fact they are not. the second is that although black water chickens need to live in wetlands, the temperature should not be too high or too low, and it is best to keep it at about 20 degrees. Finally, the black water pheasant is a relatively rare wild animal, so it needs the approval of the relevant departments of the state before it can be raised legally.

2. Culture preparation

We certainly need to be prepared before raising black water pheasants. first of all, we need to choose a relatively broad lake or river, of course, if not, we need to build a river artificially. Secondly, there are as many as 12 black water chicken breeds at present. But the adaptability of each kind of black water chicken is different, so we need to choose the most suitable species according to the local climatic conditions. There is a black water chicken in breeding and fertility need to have a better living space, then we need to do a good chicken nest in advance, and finally, the feed to choose high-quality and fully prepared.

3. Feeding method

The vitality of the newly bought chicken is relatively fragile, so we need to take good care of it. We need to put the chicken in the built coop to keep warm, and feed the concentrate suitable for Blackwater chicken three times a day. After the black water chicken's physique recovers, you can slowly add fish or shrimp to the food, or you can feed the shrimp twice a day. After the chicks have lost their original fluff, they can be released every three days, and they are taught to find their own food. In about half a month, the black water fowl can be stocked.

4. Stocking method

Black water chickens are different from black chickens and white feathered chickens. These chickens can live in chicken farms, but black water chickens need to grow better where there is water. Only in this way can the breeding ability of black water chickens be improved. After two months of black water chickens, we can put black water chickens into previously built rivers or ponds and raise them as much as possible to simulate the natural environment. Because artificial rivers need to keep some fish and shrimp on their own, we can buy some cheaper fish and shrimp for feeding, so that fish and shrimp can also reproduce, so that they can continue to flow. In addition, the black water pheasant also eats insects, such as earthworms. Finally, it is also possible to feed some green vegetables to the black water chickens and mix them with some feed, which can promote their growth.

5. Disease prevention and treatment

The vitality of wild animals is relatively tenacious, so they generally rarely get sick, even if they get sick, they will find their own food for treatment, as do wild black water chickens, but after artificial feeding, black water chickens lose part of their function, so they will also catch a cold or have symptoms of inflammation during birth, so we have to treat them in time. Breeding grounds should always be equipped with drugs to prevent and cure colds and inflammation, which can be added to food when the weather changes greatly, which can play a good preventive role. Finally, Blackwater chickens will have chicken plague in the same month as ordinary chickens, which is very serious at this time, because it is very contagious, so we should find the source of the disease in time, isolate and treat it.
