Matters needing attention in centipede culture
We all know that centipedes are very toxic, but we also know that centipedes are also very effective. Most of our friends living in rural areas have seen a relatively small centipede. This centipede is not particularly toxic, but it is also very troublesome if bitten by it, so adults in the family do not let children touch it, so although centipedes are very expensive. However, there are still many people who do not want to breed, because it is too dangerous, so today, pro-agricultural network is here to share with you a few problems that centipedes need to pay attention to, hoping to help you.
1. Seed selection
The centipede is a highly toxic creature, but if you want to be effective, the more toxic the centipede species will be. even so, the centipede is docile sometimes, as long as you don't offend it, everything will be fine. So how do we choose the species? First of all, we need to observe whether the skin of the centipede has been damaged, or whether there are scars, the second is to observe the integrity of the centipede's feet, the second is to observe the daily activities of the centipede, and finally is to take tools to test the ferocity of the centipede. We should culture centipedes which are highly toxic, active, healthy and docile, so that a lot of unnecessary injuries can be avoided.
2. Temperature
The centipede's ability to survive and adapt to the environment is very good, but if the centipede wants to be high-yielding, it needs to have a temperature suitable for its growth, usually at about 29 to 32 degrees. The temperature for the centipede to look for food should be about 25 to 30 degrees, so that the centipede can grow and lay eggs normally. The lowest ambient temperature can not be lower than ten degrees, and the centipede will die below ten degrees. But the temperature can not be higher than 40 degrees, under the condition of 40 degrees, useless work will stop growing, so temperature control is also very important.
3. Density
The density of centipedes should be reasonable, if the density is too dense, centipedes will attack each other, especially for some relatively thin centipedes, this is a disaster, the second is overcrowding, then the probability of disease is greater, and there are more diseases and insects, the more difficult to manage. Therefore, our general breeding density is 600 per square meter to the adult centipede of Angelica dahurica. if it is a young centipede, we can increase the number of centipedes, but when we grow up, we must separate it to ensure the best density per square meter.
4. Management
When raising, we should stick a layer of plastic film around us, and then we should take precautions to prevent the centipede from escaping. If your precautions are in place, then the centipede will escape. Secondly, the living environment should be kept clean when raising, otherwise it is easy to cause bacterial infection, so we need to clean it up once a week or so, and then we should pay great attention to feed, and try our best to choose feed that is helpful to digestion. although the centipede itself is more toxic, it is not allowed to feed food containing pesticides, and the centipedes found to be sick should be isolated in time. To prevent other centipedes from being infected. Finally, when raising, we must pay attention to safety, need to be detoxified in the farm-related drugs, so that in the event of an accident can also be timely treatment, can reduce a certain degree of risk.
