1. A cold

Cold is mainly due to parrots in the breeding process is not ready to prevent the wind and heat preservation, by the wind cold. But in recent years, studies have found that viruses can also cause colds in parrots. After catching a cold, the sick bird appears in a state of malaise and malaise, loses its usual vitality, stands still and breathes louder and faster, and the nostrils of severe colds are blocked by mucus to make the parrot open its mouth to breathe. Sick birds should be placed in a warm place immediately after illness to prevent further attack by the wind and cold. Add an appropriate amount of egg yolk powder to the feed, add long-acting sulfonamide to the water, and nostril blockage can manually remove the mucus and make it breathe normally.

2. Pneumonia

Pneumonia is mainly due to the lack of timely treatment of the sick bird after the parrot has a cold, so that the sick bird is further affected by the wind and cold, and if it is not kept warm in time, the cold will further develop to pneumonia. After the attack, the parrot will be like a fool, in a daze, with its head under its wings. The body will rise and fall with the ups and downs of breathing, the appetite is extremely low, and the mortality rate is also extremely high. when you catch a cold, you should transfer the sick birds to a warm environment to avoid further wind and cold. Feed the parrot glucose water and add appropriate amount of oxytetracycline to the glucose water twice a day for a week as a course of treatment.

3. Enteritis

Enteritis is mainly caused by feed and water, feed and water deterioration to the parrot feeding will pollute the parrot's intestines and stomach, parrots will begin to appear malaise after enteritis. Defecate from time to time, the feces show a sticky shape, sometimes stick to the anus, and in severe cases there will be blood in the feces. The sick birds lose weight quickly and lose weight in a straight line. Do not give moldy feed and spoiled water to parrots, change water feed frequently every day, and disinfect containers every day. Water should be boiled and cooled, and mild cases can add appropriate amount of medicinal carbon powder to the water. for more serious cases, you need to add dysentery. Black tea can be used instead of water in summer to reduce the incidence of disease.

4. Constipation

The parrot's long-term lack of fatty feed and fruit and vegetable feed, or untimely water supply and other reasons can cause its constipation. The faeces of sick birds are very dry and hard and their feathers are very loose before the disease. Fidgeting, screaming, defecation, but no feces. Parrots must eat a balanced diet to ensure that all the necessary substances are in place, if there is constipation, you can drop some vegetable oil directly, if the condition is serious, do enema rescue.
