Free-range chicken is a very popular and common phenomenon in rural areas, and free-range chicken has increasingly become a trend in the chicken industry. The meat quality of free-range chicken is much better and the price is much higher than that of feed chicken, but now it is possible that the health problems of some free-range chickens have been questioned, so people's requirements are getting higher and higher, so what do we need to pay attention to raising free-range chickens? Let's take a look at it.

1. Control the temperature and humidity of the chicks.

The thermoregulation ability of chicks is relatively poor, and the body temperature of chicks is closely related to the absorption of drinking water and digestion and the temperature of the environment. If the temperature is too low, once the chicks feel cold, they will huddle together to raise the temperature, which will affect the normal exercise and diet of chicks, and it is easy for chicks to freeze to death and be crushed to death. Chickens huddled together are more likely to lead to respiratory diseases, so to adjust the temperature of the environment, generally keep the indoor temperature above 32 degrees below 35 degrees, this temperature is the most appropriate.

2. Cleanliness of chicks

After the chick has just broken its shell, it is necessary to use clean water or cold boiled water to drink, and to clean up the body, to drink water before eating feed, feed to ensure the best feed.

3. Reasonable lighting

Adequate light conditions can be more conducive to the exercise diet and drinking water of chicks, which will have a direct impact on their health, ensuring that the light can reach 22-23 hours a day, while 24 hours can also be used, but the lighting time should be reduced with the passage of time. When the chicks are really out of the pen, they can use normal light, and 40-50w incandescent lamps can be installed in the chicks' rearing room, which can make the henhouse look more beautiful.

4. Immunization work

There are no specific immune procedures for free-range chicken breeding, but there are still many diseases in free-range chickens, for example, most of them die because of chicken brucellosis, so corresponding drugs can be used for prevention. at the same time, air is also a way of bacteria transmission, so we should also pay attention to the indoor air circulation, clean the chicken house regularly to prevent the breeding of germs.

The above are the points for attention in the raising of free-range chickens, in fact, compared with adult chickens, chicks need more meticulous care, so it is necessary to do adequate dietary hygiene and immunization for chicks, otherwise it is easy to cause early premature death.
