China's agriculture is more and more developed, rural farming is also more and more prosperous, straw resources are more and more abundant, through straw resources also led to the development of aquaculture. Black goat is one of the most common breeds. Black goat has fine muscle fiber and tender meat. Compared with other breeds of sheep, it has a very light smell. It's a favorite goat breed. The best quality of meat can be achieved by managing black goats well in the breeding process. Let's take a look at how black goats should be managed!

1. Castration separation

Some rams that are not suitable for breeding in black goats should be castrated within one week to two months after birth, because rams will not be violent after castration, and their temperament will become docile, which is conducive to the management during grazing. However, it should be noted that all rams cannot be castrated, and some rams should be kept as test rams, and the sheep should be distributed reasonably during grazing. Male ewes should be raised separately and cannot be placed in the same sheep house. If they are placed in the same sheep house, there will be random mating, affecting the breeding of the next generation. The big and small sheep should also be distinguished. The feeds of big and small sheep, male and female sheep should be strictly classified.

2. Feed matching

Sheep is a herbivorous animal, their feed is mainly based on grass, supplemented by concentrate. In the summer and autumn, we should feed more forage grass, etc. Some concentrate should also be properly fed, because in winter and spring forage shortage, if farmers have conditions, they can plant some crops such as ryegrass in the field to store forage for sheep in winter and spring. If there are no conditions for planting, some mixed feed can be fed as a supplement to the shortage of forage. For example, corn flour, soybeans, grass flour, etc., it is best to add some salt to the adult year every day to improve the physique.

3. Ensure drinking water

Because goats eat some roughage every day, goats have a large amount of digestion every day and need to secrete a lot of digestive juice. Moreover, the blood circulation and nutrient transfer in the body required a large amount of water. Therefore, goats have a very high demand for water, and the consequences of water shortage may be as serious as or even worse than that of food shortage. Lack of water will make goats appetite, digestion ability decreased, fat loss serious and so on a series of problems, so in the management to ensure the water demand of goats, but to clean, pollution-free water, because many diseases of goats are due to digestive tract infection. Do not let goats drink cold water in winter. Water should be heated so that goats can drink warm water.

4. Careful management

Black goat is a kind of animal that likes temperature and hates tide. It is necessary to ensure that the temperature of sheep house is not higher than 30 degrees but lower than 12 degrees, otherwise it will affect the normal growth of black goat. Especially in summer, high temperature and rainy, to keep the sheep house dry, not wet, humid environment will make black goats vulnerable to disease. Clean the ground of the sheep house once a day, disinfect the sheep house regularly, remove sheep dung once at least 15 days, keep sheep dung away from the sheep house, and avoid stacking together for fermentation. And pregnant lambs should be raised separately to prevent ewes from crushing lambs and maintain sunlight and permeability in sheep houses.

The above is about the management of black goats, goats if long in a humid environment, very easy to suffer from foot rot, foot and mouth disease and a series of diseases. It has a great impact on the growth and development of black goats, so it is necessary to ensure the environment of sheep houses and avoid the generation of bacteria and parasites. If sick sheep are found, they should be isolated in time, check the specific diseases of sick sheep, and then prescribe the right medicine. Lowering the mortality of black goats to a minimum, improving production and quality.
