The feeding method of breeding bull
The breeding bull is also a bull specially used for breeding, so the requirements for its physical quality and other aspects are relatively strict, so it takes a lot of effort to raise a breeding bull with good conditions in all aspects, not only related to the selection of medium bull breed, but also related to the breeding management, daily management of breeding bull, and some other matters, so today we will take a look at how the breeding bull is raised together with the pro-agricultural network.
1. Bull selection
The quality of medium bulls affects the quality of the herd, and in this age of many cattle breeds, the choice of good breeding bulls is also very large. When selecting a bull, we mainly consider its meat production performance and its reproductive ability. Secondly, it is most suitable to select a bull with strong body, developed limbs, no disease, strong adaptability, strong resistance and, most importantly, strong sexual desire and excellent semen quality.
2. Feeding during non-breeding period
The reproduction ability of medium bulls is directly related to the mix of feed, so there are certain differences in the mix of feed in different periods. First of all, let's take a look at how the non-breeding period is raised. During the non-breeding period, the appetite of the bulls is relatively good, and the feeding during this period is mainly to lay a good physical foundation for the breeding cattle. We mainly mix 25% corn, 20% wheat bran, 15% millet, 15% corn flour, vitamins and some necessary trace elements with appropriate amount of feed, which is the concentrate configuration during the non-breeding period. At the same time, we also need to feed appropriate amount of high-quality fodder every day during this period. To ensure a balanced nutrition, feed two to three times a day.
3. Breeding during breeding period
Bulls in breeding period have a relatively large sexual desire and are more impetuous in their hearts, so they do not have too much appetite for eating, sometimes they do not even eat or drink, which has a great impact on their body and sexual function. We can only let them eat by induction. At this time, we will have a great change in the mix of feeds. Because our appetite is small, we still need more nutrients. Therefore, we can only solve the problem from the nutrient concentration of feeds. Usually, we can make ingredients according to 30% corn, 25% wheat bran, 20% millet, 10% corn flour, 1% gypsum, 1% soda and 12% other nutrients. At the same time, we also need appropriate amount of fodder. Feed twice a day.
4. Daily management
Daily management is very important for breeding bulls, because breeding bulls are more grumpy when they are in heat, and it is easy to hurt people, so we should cultivate feelings with them in the usual breeding process, which is easier to manage. The second is to clean the farm from time to time and wake up to disinfect, so as to avoid bacterial infection of the bull testis inflammation. Then there should be a special place for them to exercise in the farm, grazing under the conditions, ensuring at least one hour of exercise per day. There is also to brush them from time to time, trim their hooves, weigh them, and finally collect sperm reasonably according to different periods.
