1. Soaking seeds

In order to improve the germination rate of pepper seeds, we certainly need to deal with the seeds before planting, because there are always some pepper seeds whose activity is not so good, in order to improve the activity of the seeds, we first need to soak the seeds, usually soaking the seeds in water of about 30 degrees, the amount of water only needs to cover the seeds, so as not to affect the internal components of the seeds due to too much water. The second is that the time of soaking the seeds can not be too long, as long as the seeds can be soaked thoroughly, in general, it takes about three hours, and then remove the seeds and drain the water.

2. Hot seed

When the water of the pepper seed is drained, we need to go on to the next step of scalding the seed, which can kill some bacteria outside the seed and stimulate the activity of the seed. Here, the editor would like to mention that the seed must be soaked before the seed is scalded, because if the seed is directly scalded, the seed will lose its ability to germinate directly. We should prepare hot water of about 50 to 60 degrees to scald the seeds, then put the seeds in, stir gently, so that the seeds are heated evenly, fish out the seeds after 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse them with clean water, and dry the water to accelerate germination.

3. Accelerating budding

In order to improve the germination rate of pepper seeds, it is a very critical step to accelerate germination. First of all, we should wrap the treated seeds with cotton cloth, and then put them in an environment with a temperature of about 30 degrees. We can use heat energy to keep warm, and at the same time, we can also put the wrapped seeds into the soil. Then cover it with soil and cover it with a layer of straw or plastic film to achieve the effect of heat preservation, but if you use heat to promote germination, you need to reseed seeds from time to time, so the speed and effect of budding will be better.

4. Sowing seeds

When about 80% of the pepper seeds have sprouted, we can sow the seeds, and whether the sowing is correct or not will finally determine the emergence of the seeds. First of all, we need to prepare the seedbed for sowing. The soil of the seedbed generally needs to be fine and leveled, and the soil is watered thoroughly before sowing, and then the seeds are scattered evenly, then covered with soil, and covered with a layer of straw to keep warm. If you are still worried about the temperature is not enough, you can cover it with a layer of plastic film, but when the seed emerges the bud tip, you need to lift the film in time, otherwise it will burn out the seed.
