As a kind of cute-looking plant, succulent plant has always been sought after by the public. However, there are still many people who know little about the maintenance of succulent plants.

It is now autumn, and it is the peak growing season for succulent plants, and a lot of succulent plants are going to start to change pots, but many flower friends have also encountered a problem, that is, after changing pots, during slow pots, succulent plants are depressed for no reason, and the most important thing is to die directly. What's going on? What can I do to get succulent and gain weight quickly in autumn?

Succulent change basin, involves is slow seedling problem, in order to let succulent rapid growth, in succulent slow seedling, we should pay attention to the "rhythm", can not be urgent.

1. Before delaying seedlings

For the early stage of succulent plants, succulent plants should be treated to ensure that succulent plants are healthy and relatively clean, so as to improve the survival rate of succulent plants.

Therefore, before going to the pot at this time, it is necessary to clean up all the rotten and diseased roots of succulent plants, and also remove those which are also relatively withered, leaving relatively strong roots. Of course, the rotten leaves near the roots also need to be cleaned up.

After treatment, disinfect the wound with potassium permanganate and water 2000 times. Then leave it in a cool and ventilated place to dry (avoid exposure). And the plant material used should choose the plant material with good drainage and air permeability to prevent stagnant water from rotting the root, and it can be put on the basin after treatment.

2. Slow down the seedlings

During the slow seedling period, there are several key points, that is: water, ventilation, light. During the succulent seedling retarding period, these three factors are the three major environmental factors leading to the failure of succulent seedling retarding. If one of the conditions is not good, it's not gonna happen.

Therefore, when the seedlings are slow, the succulent plants that have just been planted should not be watered, because the roots are already hurt after pruning, so wait a day or two for them to adapt to the new environment before watering, and the amount of water must be controlled when watering. Generally, keep the spray slightly moist (avoid watering from the top, the leaf heart is easy to rot, and should be watered gently from the edge of the basin), the amount of water is enough to make succulent growth, and less water. Fungi and bacteria will also be correspondingly less.

When slowing down the seedlings, the location should be ventilated and cool (avoid direct sunlight), such a place in addition to less succulent water evaporation, but also can effectively reduce the growth of bacteria and fungi, avoid succulent root infection and decay.

3. After slowing down the seedlings

After slow seedling is good, succulent already familiar with the new environment, grow new root, at this time can be normal to its maintenance, now is autumn, succulent growth season, so can give it some nutrition, but fertilization, the suggestion is to apply rotten fertilizer, fertilizer effect is mild and long-term, nutrition and comprehensive, can also be sugarcane fermentation succulent special organic liquid fertilizer.

After mixing 1000 times of water, it can be sprayed with a spray can, and the fertilizer effect is the same as rotten fertilizer, but it is easier to be absorbed and easy to operate. Apply good fertilizer, and then pour good water, after a period of maintenance, succulent flesh will also gain weight. All right, the above is the three "rhythms" of raising succulent plants and slowing seedlings in autumn. Did you learn it?
