It is undoubtedly a great pity that the flowers at home have bloomed, but the beautiful flowers do not bloom very often. Especially for the bouquets that have special significance to us, how can we make the beauty of the flowers last? Today, the editor will teach you how to make dried flowers, simple and practical!

Natural air drying method

Natural air drying is the simplest and most commonly used method.

1. Choose the flowers you like, and be sure to choose the complete and beautiful ones.

2. Remove the extra branches and leaves, tie the bottom with thread, separate the flower heads from each other, and place them upside down in a dry, warm, ventilated place where there is no direct sunlight.

Tie the rope every few days. Because as the water dissipates, the branches become thinner. Don't touch the petals at will. It will be ready in about three weeks.

Desiccant

1, usually buy shoes in the shoebox, food bags, there will be desiccant. Pour out the desiccant, spread it in the box, put the flowers up between the desiccant, and cover the box.

2. Pour the desiccant gently between the flowers and evenly.

3. The desiccant will change color after absorbing water. Use a transparent box to observe the dehydration of flowers at all times. The dried flowers will be ready in about a week.

Quartz sand drying

1. Pick suitable flowers. It is best to choose flowers with small size, hard stalk and low water content. Budding and newly blooming flowers are the first choice. Then, remove the extra leaves and weak branches.

2. Some quartz sand should be added to the bottom first, and the flower stalk should be fixed during operation. The flowers are placed vertically and the stalks are fixed in the sand. Be careful to put it vertically, otherwise, the weight of quartz sand can easily change the shape of the flowers.

3. Slowly fill the container with quartz sand with a small spoon. During the operation, be careful and shake the container slightly constantly so that the quartz sand can fully fill the gap. At the same time, the posture of the flowers should be adjusted in time to ensure that they are completely submerged in the sand.

4. Rest in a cool and dry place for about a week. The time depends on the air drying degree and the water content of the petals. The longer the time is, the higher the drying degree is.

5. when taking out the flowers, be careful not to destroy the state of the flowers, and then use a soft brush to remove the floating dust from the surface.

About quartz sand: quartz sand can be easily bought in arts and crafts stores or Taobao. There are both large and small particles. Pay attention to the fine quartz sand with high fineness and white powder used to make dried flowers. Another advantage of quartz sand is that it is resistant to decay, never deteriorates, and does not interact with other chemicals to produce other chemical changes.
