My husband has benefited me all my life in the aspects of moral character, artistic thought, theoretical system, creative practice, teaching and preaching, and so on. My husband is knowledgeable, rigorous in scholarship, kind and generous, and taught me face-to-face, as if enlightened. My husband opened a window of light for me and led me to a new road of life.

On September 6, 2013, Mr. he left us. That year, I suddenly felt that I had lost my heart on the road of art. A lot of bonsai things came to mind. There was no conclusion for a long time. I was at a loss in the confusion of inheritance and development. Who was with me?

Five years later, looking back on the days when I was always with teacher he, he talked deeply and thoroughly about bonsai teaching in all aspects. This is a story often told by Mr. he with examples. I remember that one autumn, Mr. he was cooking bonsai in his old house. I ate the authentic braised meat cooked by teacher Xia at teacher he's house that day. After dinner, teacher he and I asked a question that had settled in my mind for a long time. I remember that teacher he said, "in my memory, no one has ever asked this question." I asked, without the evolution of history, what is the highest state of bonsai art? Teacher he replied without thinking: "the unity of man and nature."

More than 20 years ago, these four words were not popular, when I was silent on my way home. Four words have always been my motto to pursue the artistic realm of bonsai. Although these four words can be seen everywhere now, for bonsai art, each word is a book.

Today, I would like to share with you on the occasion of remembering the fifth anniversary of teacher he's death.

"Natural charm, lively rhythm, flying momentum, freehand effect" is the core theory of dynamic bonsai.

Today, Wang Mingqiang, a student of teacher he, reproduces the charm of Qiusi in the form of a sketch. It is a portrayal of nature and gives us a new interpretation of the concept of dynamic bonsai. I really don't know whether Qiusi is the ultimate bonsai or the pursuit of Chinese bonsai.
