Pears are a very common fruit in our country. Everyone will prepare a certain number of pears at home to greet guests. There are also many varieties of pears, the planting area of various varieties of pears is getting larger and larger, and the market demand is also increasing. There is no downward trend at all, and there are no longer a small number of new growers every year, and they all want to make a profit in the pear market. But growing pears has strict requirements on the environment. Do you know what requirements are needed? Let's take a look at it.

1. Soil

Pears have a strong ability to adapt to the soil and can grow and develop normally in most soils, but if you want to plant high-yield and high-quality pear trees, you still need to choose a good soil. The soil with fertile soil, deep and soft soil, good permeability and strong water retention is the most suitable for pear growth. The PH value in the soil should be between 5 and 6, which can lay the foundation for planting high-quality and high-yield pear trees.

2. Lighting

Pear needs a long time of light to grow in a year, and it is a kind of fruit that needs light very much. Providing enough light time can effectively improve the growth of pear trees, and the fruit rate is high and the quality is perfect. If the growth process does not provide enough light, the top branches of the pear tree will grow too long and the shape of the crown will be abnormal. It is necessary to plant closely and reduce the density of the tree so that the whole tree can receive light evenly.

3. Air volume

A certain amount of wind is needed in the growth process of pear trees, which can promote the growth rate of pear trees, but the wind should not be too strong, which not only can not promote the growth, but also hinder the growth of pear trees. For example, tree deformation will also have a certain impact on its flowering and pollination rate, pollination will be blocked to affect the fruit rate, and in serious cases, immature young fruits will be blown off, so it is necessary to properly control the wind in the orchard and take emergency measures in stormy weather.

4. Fertilization

The growth of any crop is inseparable from fertilizer nutrition. Before planting, the soil should be ploughed and cultivated, and enough base fertilizer and soil mixing should be applied to improve soil fertility. Topdressing should be done at least twice a year, and the specific time and amount should be determined according to the growth status of pear trees and soil fertility. Before the beginning of winter every year, the base fertilizer should be well applied to prepare adequate nutrition for pear trees to survive the winter and prevent frost damage in winter.

5. Moisture

Pear seedlings do not need much water in their growth, but they need a lot of water to grow during the flowering and fruiting period, and the water demand needs to be determined according to different varieties. For example, Qiuzi pear does not have a great demand for water, and it is not resistant to moisture and needs to be planted in drier areas. All kinds of pears should pay attention to the discharge of stagnant water, too much water will affect the breathing of the roots, serious will retting the roots.

The above five points are the environmental requirements for growing pears. Although pears have strong adaptability, they still need to control the environment if they want to achieve high yield and high quality pears. To control the planting density in the orchard, it is not suitable to plant too dense, too dense can not provide enough nutrition for each tree, there will be competition for nutrients, resulting in uneven growth.
