What do you think of Mexico?

A street full of exotic customs? The Day of the Dead? Or the columns of cactus in the Mexican desert?

However, as the native place of succulent plant, Mexico has not only cactus and tequila, but also moon shadow and flower moon night that we like. Why is that?

Let's take a look at the location of Mexico first.

-unique geographical location-

The Mexican plateau, surrounded by the Chihuahua Desert, the East Madre Mountains and the West Madre Mountains, has to be named by Mexicans.

Further up is the Colora Plateau, the famous origin of Chihuahua, and to the north is California, the origin of the Fairy Cup.

-A warm and pleasant climate-

The plateau surrounded by mountains, to the west is the Gulf of Mexico, which is an important current in the Atlantic Ocean and the largest current in the world.

Originated in the Gulf of Mexico, through the Strait of Florida along the eastern waters of the United States and the Canadian province of Newfoundland northward, and finally across the North Atlantic to the Arctic Sea. At about 40 degrees north and 30 degrees west, the Gulf Stream branches into two branches, the north branch into the waters of Europe, the North Atlantic warm current, and the south branch back to the equator via West Africa.

Due to the obvious vertical climate of the Mexican plateau, the temperature is mild all the year round, with an average temperature of 10 ℃ ~ 26 ℃, and the coastal and southeastern plains belong to tropical climate.

Most areas are divided into two seasons: drought (October-April) and rain (May-September). The rainy season concentrates 75% of the annual precipitation.

During the rainy season, this warm current will bring rich water vapor to Mexico and affect the weather in Mexico. This warm place is the birthplace of some of the succulent plants.

Because of the plateau topography in Mexico, no severe cold in winter, no heat in summer, and evergreen trees in the four seasons, it enjoys the laudatory name of "Pearl of the Plateau".

Suitable temperature, high altitude, strong ultraviolet light, suitable humidity, a real succulent paradise!

Succulent distribution map of crassulaceae on the Mexican plateau:

Moon Shadow, Flower Moon Night, Dahejin, Peach Egg. Mom, everyone likes it here!

Its unique geographical environment and topography have created its rich succulent resources and envy.

I can't help remembering a sentence:

"all roads lead to Rome."

"No, I was born in Rome."

Kunming, the map looks at each other from a distance

As the place of origin, the Mexican plateau is gradually rising from north to south, roughly divided into north and south by the boundary of latitude 22 °N, and the central area is latitude 30 °N. if you look for it on the map, it happens to be Kunming at about the same altitude and latitude.

So this is why the radiation area in Yunnan with Kunming as the center is called the open hanging area.

However, compared with the Mexican plateau, the laudatory name of Kunming Spring City has delayed it. Kunming has significantly more rainfall than the Mexican plateau, so it is only a low-end version for a while.

However, compared with other parts of the country, the climate of Kunming and its surrounding areas is obviously open, low configuration is low configuration, unique low configuration.

Like Mexico, Yunnan has high latitudes, suitable temperatures and strong ultraviolet rays, where succulent plants are open.

-mineral resources-

In addition to the excellent climate, the Mexican plateau is also rich in mineral resources: three big volcanoes, what do volcanoes have? Volcanic rocks, as well as rich diatomite deposits, create rich succulent resources on the Mexican plateau.

If you climb a mountain, you can pick up some native succulent plants, so it is not groundless to say that granular soil is suitable for succulent plants.

From the conditions of the Mexican plateau environment, we can draw a conclusion:

The suitable growth temperature for some succulent plants of Sedum crassulaceae is 5 ℃ ~ 25 ℃, and it is not suitable for more watering.

Although it has been said that succulent plant is suitable for such conditions, the specific reason still has to be analyzed from its original place. Please look forward to it: analyze the environment of the mage and like what you want to see.
