1. Seed selection

The output value of garlic yellow is still relatively high. When selecting seeds, garlic seeds with large cloves should be selected. Before sowing, freeze damage, rot and thin garlic cloves should be removed first. Garlic cloves with large cloves and no disease damage should be selected.

2. Planting site

Garlic is mainly planted in low temperature season, so the planting site can be cultivated in greenhouse, or in empty house and cellar. When planting in empty house and cellar, ignite and heat up inside, and make good ventilation conditions. A pond can be built in it. The height of the cultivation pond is 60cm. The length and width depend on the planting scale. The surface of the pond must be flat. Sand or a layer of sandy loam shall be paved. After raking, sowing can be carried out.

3. Sowing

Soak the garlic selected in advance in clean water for more than ten hours, let it absorb enough water, then split the garlic, remove the heel of the stem plate, and then place it neatly on the cultivation pond. The place with gaps can be filled with garlic cloves, try not to leave large gaps. After placing, flatten with tools, sprinkle fine soil or fine sand once, irrigate the cultivation pond slowly from the side, not directly from above, the amount of water just covers the garlic. After irrigation, lay a layer of fine sand soil, and the sowing is completed.

4. Cultivation management

After sowing, strictly control the temperature of the cultivation room, so that the temperature is between 18-22 degrees, it will not take long to sprout, and after the sprouts are unearthed, cover the curtain in time to soften the garlic leaves and ensure the quality of garlic yellow. Cover curtain shading must be timely, if shading too late or shading is not strict, will affect the quality of garlic yellow, keep the temperature at 25-28 degrees during the day, keep the temperature at 18-20 degrees at night, but also timely irrigation to ensure sufficient moisture, generally every 2-3 days to irrigate once, strengthen ventilation, so as not to accumulate a large number of toxic gases, resulting in garlic yellow death.

5. Timely harvest

When the garlic sprouts grow to 25cm, they can be harvested. Generally, it takes only one month from sowing to harvesting. The harvest should be fast, but it should not be too deep. The parts above the ground can be harvested. If the harvest is too deep, it is easy to hurt the garlic cloves. Irrigation should not be done immediately after harvest, so as to avoid infection of wound diseases. Irrigation should be done 3 days after harvest to promote the growth of the second crop. Harvest can be done about 20 days later.
