We may not be familiar with konjac, basically all we see are processed products of konjac, the main reason is that konjac itself is poisonous and can only be eaten after processing. Because Konjac has detoxification and beauty, lowering blood pressure and blood lipids, as well as appetizing effects, it has also changed from the original wild plant to artificial cultivation. The following are some of the problems that need to be paid attention to when planting konjac. Let's take a look together.

1. Soil

Konjac has a certain selectivity to the soil planted, because it is not suitable for planting in plots with large soil viscosity. If the appropriate soil is not selected, the survival rate of Konjac will be very low. Therefore, attention must be paid to selecting yellow soil or purple soil as well as sandy soil and sandy soil when planting. The pH of the soil can be moderately acidic. Finally, it is important to note that continuous cropping is not allowed, and it is also not allowed to plant in soils where the previous crops are continuous cropping and the previous crops are pepper and tobacco.

2. Time

Konjac planting time is also a relatively important issue, because there are differences in temperature and climate to a certain extent in various parts of our country, so we need to understand the climatic conditions of the location when planting, and then choose the right time to plant. We take Hunan as an example. Usually, the best time for Konjac planting is to sow seedlings in April every spring. Usually, it sprouts in about 25 days. Transplanting should be completed in the middle of May. This is beneficial to the growth of the konjac.

3. Temperature

The planting temperature is also something we need to pay attention to, and the temperature is also an important factor for us to judge whether we can sow. The best temperature suitable for konjac growth is about 15 degrees. When sowing, we should test the soil temperature. If the soil temperature can be stabilized at about 15 degrees, we can prepare for sowing. Secondly, in the process of planting, it is best to regulate the temperature reasonably so that the temperature in the field can be maintained at about 13 to 18 degrees.

4. Density

Unreasonable planting density will bring a lot of trouble to konjac, such as the impact of diseases and insect pests, plant growth slowdown, konjac yield and quality, etc. Under the conditions of soil conditions and other aspects that are relatively in line with the standard, an average of about 3,000 plants can be planted per mu, and then it is necessary to increase or reduce planting according to the specific conditions of planting land, such as the fertility of the soil, the illumination of the planting land, etc. Finally, the number of plants per mu cannot exceed 4,000.

5, fertilizer water

One of the biggest differences between konjac cultivation and other crop cultivation lies in the aspect of water application management. If circumstances permit, apply enough base fertilizer as much as possible, do not apply topdressing, irrigate enough water at the beginning of planting, and reduce the number of watering as much as possible, which is more conducive to its growth. Secondly, Xiaobian should add one point here, that is, konjac does not need how to carry out field management, it belongs to coarse seed crops, and sperm tubes are not conducive to its growth.
