Personally, I think raw stone flowers are relatively heat-resistant. In summer, when there is no wind at noon, the temperature in my shed will be between 50 and 60 degrees. As long as there are no extreme circumstances, there is basically no damage in a summer, including a strip of seedlings.

It seems that the reason for the casualties of raw stone flowers in the summer should be as follows:

1. No sunshade net.

Many flower friends' casualties are due to the sudden rise in temperature and the failure to hang the sunshade net in time. I usually start hanging in the middle of April every year, using a four-needle sunshade net. I usually have no problem here in summer. Students from other places can refer to their own physical indicators, if you feel that the temperature is starting to heat up and clothes need to wear a thin coat + T-shirt, you can consider it.

After starting to hang the sunshade net, do not supply too much water, if the water supply is found to be slightly overgrown, then it means that there is too much shade, remove or replace the sparse sunshade net! The suspension height needs to be paid special attention to, the balcony party had better keep the height above 1.5 meters, because the black sunshade net will absorb heat, and the temperature of about 40 centimeters below the sunshade net will be very hot, so the suspension height is the key point.

In the greenhouse, I usually hang the sunshade net in the air and keep it at a distance of about 20 centimeters from the roof, so that the high temperature under the sunshade net will not be transmitted to the roof, and the room will be cooler. The position of the sunshade net also needs to pay attention to the position of the sun, the autumn evening sun is more severe, pay attention to the west also want sunshade.

2. Improper watering.

Watering will not lead to the death of the stone flower, but the outer leaf wall of the full stone flower becomes thinner after watering, and burns when it encounters hot soil, which leads to death. Or because the soil is airtight, the heat cannot be dissipated and is steamed, and the latter is more common. Therefore, it is best to water in the evening or evening when the temperature drops. The way of watering is to soak the basin as much as possible, and the amount of watering is as little as possible. Flower friends with more peat must not wait until the soil is wet and then take it out in a few seconds. Don't give too much, otherwise the water will not dry one day, and the sun will turn white the next day. Stone flower friends must be careful not to pour a lot of water between the two heads, the legs are always wet and easy to die!

3. Lack of ventilation.

Ventilation is the most important thing in summer, and the students in the south feel that the conditions in the north are better, that is, on the problem of ventilation, the students in the south have high air humidity and sometimes grow higher if they are not watered, just because of poor ventilation. Stone flowers like a more ventilated and drier environment. I have some burns in my shed because I am not properly watered, but when the temperature is high during the day, the wound will soon dry and will not continue to decay, and so the autumn molting will be able to turn over a new person. so students in the south found that because of the decay caused by burns, do not use carbendazim (carbendazim is used on rotting wounds, which may accelerate plant death) It may be a better choice to blow-dry the wound with a hot fan.

Summer casualties, in addition to insect bites, are often such factors, or a mixture of these factors. And summer is the season for stone flowers to blossom, and it often requires more water and fertilizer, which virtually increases the probability of casualties, so watering requires some experience, and the accumulation of experience is often accompanied by the death of flowers.
