Avocado is a tropical fruit whose main nutrients are protein and fatty acids. Babies who want to lose weight should eat less. The taste of avocado is not very good, but in recent years, avocado has become a very hot fruit, and there has been an incident of avocado theft abroad, which is also unheard of. So today, let's follow the pro-farm network to learn how avocados are grown.

1. Raising seedlings

As a matter of fact, the cultivation of avocados is now purchased by special saplings, and then it is better to plant them directly, which is much simpler than before, but what the editor introduces to you today is the planting from the beginning of seedling cultivation. We need to buy avocado seeds with full fruit, and then put the tip of the seed up evenly in the soil after treatment, then gently cover the seed with the soil, and be sure to choose a place with plenty of light on the sowing ground. and water it every seven hours or so. It usually sprouts and grows seedlings in about two weeks.

2. Transplanting

When the seedlings grow to about 40 centimeters, we can transplant. Before planting, we need to dig holes at intervals of four to five meters per row and three to four meters per plant, and sprinkle a sufficient amount of base fertilizer. When transplanting, we must pay attention to transplanting the soil on the seedbed with the root of the avocado tree as much as possible, so that it can adapt to the environment after transplanting more quickly, and it needs to be watered immediately after transplanting, which can improve its survival rate.

3. Lighting

Avocado is a tropical fruit, so it has high requirements for light and temperature, so it cannot be planted in many parts of our country, because the seasons and temperatures in most parts of our country change greatly. in the process of its growth, we have to make sure that it has at least eight hours of sunshine in a day, otherwise it will be difficult to survive, let alone the result.

4. Management

The growing period of avocado is relatively long, and it usually takes the fifth year to bear fruit, and the management during its growing period is very important, including fertilization, watering, loosening soil, pruning and so on. The growth of avocado trees needs a large amount of nourishment. during the period of young trees, we usually use potassium fertilizer and phosphate fertilizer mainly, and use appropriate amount of nitrogen fertilizer, because avocado trees are particularly sensitive to nitrogen fertilizer, especially to its roots. So the use of nitrogen fertilizer is generally relatively small. Then slowly increase the amount of fertilizer used as the tree grows older. The growth of avocado needs to bring that moisture, and we should water it regularly to keep the soil moisture around 60% as much as possible. Watering, fertilizing and loosening the soil are best combined, which is beneficial to the growth of the plant. Finally, prune the avocado tree properly when necessary to ensure the light it needs.

5. Pollination

The pollination of avocado is the key to the yield of avocado, it requires two plants to pollinate each other, we usually plant in herringbone shape when planting, so the success rate of pollination is much higher when the wind blows. Secondly, we can also use artificial pollination, usually to collect pollen on a sunny day, and then manually spray it in the morning after manual treatment, so that the chance of pollination is relatively high. If you don't believe it, you can try it yourself.
