In 2015, they returned to their hometown of Suizhou, Hubei, to take over the tea planting industry that their family had run for more than 30 years, rented several houses by the lake and renovated, and then plunged into the mountains and lived a solitary life in the mountains.

This was built by educated youths who went to the countryside more than 20 years ago. the couple rented two rows of houses opposite each other, carefully transformed it into their own home, and gave it a nice name, called "Mountain".

After a vigorous transformation, the previously lifeless house has taken on a new look.

It is based on the refreshing white wall with logs as the tone, and then through the glass window to increase lighting and ventilation, the internal reasonable functional configuration, the design of the kitchen, dining room, bedroom, teahouse and so on, to the greatest extent to meet the living needs of husband and wife.

There is a pavilion in the courtyard, where you can sit and enjoy the cool, rest, or choose food and chat in the shade in your spare time.

A small garden was specially opened in the originally bare yard. They planted vines in it, such as roses, lilies, sage, etc., and in the spring, it looked so colorful and full of vitality.

There is a 30-meter-long corridor between the courtyard and the house, connecting one end to the kitchen and the other to the dining room. Whenever there is a breeze or rain like a curtain in summer, it becomes their favorite place.

There is a round hole at the end of the corridor, together with the soft lights under the eaves of the corridor, while optimizing the lighting, it always feels a different charm.

Interior space has been renovated, on the basis of retaining the simple flavor, but also added a lot of modern materials and elements. It is based on white, logs and a small amount of gray as the tone, together to deduce a fresh and comfortable space atmosphere.

The wooden furniture in the room is basically hand-made, mostly based on a large catalpa tree that has failed to grow.

Although far away from the crowd and the city, the country life of the young couple is not boring and lonely at all.

They love flowers and life, and occasionally hold a flower arrangement party in their own home, invite like-minded friends to share gardening, or taste their own green plum wine and snacks to have a wonderful time together.

On weekdays, Liu Yu and his wife would sit quietly at the window drinking tea and reading, watching the light and shadow swaying outside the window and the changes of the four seasons. Everything was very tasteful and pleasant.

Their home has designed two teahouses of Chinese style and Japanese style, although the style is different, but each has its own bright spot.

Perhaps the scenery of "the Mountain" is so wonderful that it often attracts masters from nearby temples to come to meditate and enjoy tea.

In winter, the outside is covered with snow, and the farmyard is particularly beautiful, forming a beautiful and quiet picture.

There are no delicacies here, but there are a lot of natural and organic farm dishes.

Their vegetables often come from their own vegetable fields, the taste of the home looks very common, but sometimes it is mouth-watering, and the taste is particularly delicious.

There are still many fruit trees in the mountains for them to pick, and every harvest season will be full, so enjoy the gifts of nature.

After saying goodbye to the busy city life, growing flowers and vegetables, walking in the mountains and picking wild fruits have become the real daily life of Liu Yu and his wife.
