The difference between plane flower and paulownia flower

1. Different tree trunks

Sycamore is a deciduous tree with a height of up to 16 meters. The bark is turquoise with a smooth surface and no special protuberances and lines.

The color of paulownia bark is dark, gray, grayish brown or even grayish black. It is relatively smooth in childhood and begins to crack longitudinally as it matures.

Second, the difference of leaves

The leaves of sycamore are heart-shaped with 3 to 5 cracks on the surface. The cracks are triangular. The leaves are larger and can reach about 15 to 30 centimeters in diameter.

The leaves of paulownia are oval in shape, with some shallow cracks on the whole edge, and the petiole is long and covered with small villi.

Third, the difference of flowers

Sycamore flowers are yellowish green in color, with panicles about 20-50 cm long.

Paulownia flowers are lavender or white in color and are shaped like trumpets.
