Last Updated: 2024/11/05, There are many reasons why the lotus does not blossom: if it is caused by insufficient light, it should be kept in a place where the sun can shine; if the density of branches and leaves is too high, it should be pruned properly, cut off the redundant and poorly developed branches and leaves; if the depth of cultivation is not suitable to cause, it is necessary to choose the appropriate depth of cultivation according to the variety.

1. Lack of light

1, the reason: the lotus is a sunny plant, if the light is not enough, so that it does not get enough sunlight, it will not interact with the sun and will not blossom.

2. Solution: make sure that the lotus has enough light. If it is cultivated indoors, it should be put where the sun can shine. If it is cultivated outdoors, it should not be shaded. It needs to be cultured in the sun.

Second, the density is too high

1. Reason: the lotus has a great demand for nutrients during the flowering and growing period. if the density of the lotus is too high, the nutrients will not be supplied and it will not blossom.

2. Solution: need to prune the lotus in time, cut off the excess and underdeveloped lotus, so that nutrients are more concentrated and leave room for healthy lotus to grow. If it is a potted lotus, it is best to raise one in a pot.

Third, the cultivation depth is not suitable.

1. Reason: in the process of cultivating lotus, if the cultivation is too deep, it will affect the root system to absorb nutrients, and the branches and leaves will be malnourished; if the cultivation is too shallow, the root of the lotus will not be firm and will affect its growth. In both cases, it will not blossom.

2. Solution: first, it is necessary to divide the lotus variety into small plant varieties or large plant varieties. If it is a small plant variety, the cultivation depth is 20 cm. If it is a large plant variety, it needs to be more than 30 cm.
