Poria cocos is one of the bulk medicinal materials, it is edible and can be used as medicine, and the most common state of Poria cocos in our lives is Poria cocos ointment, which belongs to a kind of cold food, which has the effect of clearing away heat and removing fire, as well as calming the mind and invigorating the spleen and stomach, which can be often used in our daily life, but we are not clear about how Poria cocos are planted, maybe just like other plants, maybe there will be some differences. The following is the content that the pro-agricultural network wants to share with you today. Let's take a look.

1. Prepare materials

There is a certain difference between Poria cocos and other medicinal materials, the main reason is that it belongs to a facultative parasite, so it is necessary to prepare materials for mycelium cultivation before planting, so that it can grow normally. Poria cocos, the most favorable nutrient for its growth is Lai pine wood, so we need to prepare Lai pine wood, and then divide it into sections or make trees to prepare materials, each section is about one meter in length, remove the bark and put it on the ground, and then cover it with grass.

2. Land preparation

Poria cocos cultivation is best selected in the slope of sand with good drainage, so the drainage effect will be better, followed by deep turning, fine raking of the soil, and then heap soil for disinfection and sterilization, and it should be noted that continuous cropping of Poria cocos is prohibited in the planting land, because there will be a large number of other fungi that will affect the growth of Poria cocos. Wait until about half a month before inoculation need to be a deep turn, so that can thoroughly understand the impurities and pests in the soil, to ensure the growth of Poria cocos.

3. Inoculation

Poria cocos can be inoculated in spring and autumn. first of all, we need to select suitable bacteria or fresh Poria cocos, and then open the cellar along the slope on the whole ground and put the pieces of wood along the opened cellar. then we need to disinfect the bacteria and the people who are vaccinated comprehensively, so as to avoid bacterial infection. After disinfection, it will be placed evenly at both ends of the wood or at the interface, then sprinkle with a layer of termite control agent, and finally cover it gently with soil.

4. Management

A week or so after inoculation, white mycelium will grow. We should check the emergence of bacteria in the field in time. If there is a lack of bacteria, we should replant it in time, and then check every ten days or so to see how the military situation of Poria cocos is. There are no dead bacteria or foreign bacteria, and if they are removed in time, they will be infected with other healthy strains. Wait until half a month later, if termites appear in the soil, we have to kill them, because termites are the natural enemies of Poria cocos growth. Finally, we should pay attention to the water in the field, if too much water should be discharged in time, if the wood is exposed to the ground, it should be treated with soil cultivation, and so on.

5. Disease prevention

In the whole process of Poria cocos growth, there are many diseases and insect pests, here the editor only briefly said a few kinds, mainly some fungal infections, than if Trichoderma, Penicillium, etc., the general control method is to cover a layer of straw or film on the section of wood when cultivating soil, which can be effectively prevented, followed by spraying carbendazim. In addition, soft rot often occurs, which is mainly caused by too much water in the field, which first needs to strengthen field management and timely drainage, and then can also be sprayed with carbendazim or Bordeaux solution. Finally, the biggest natural enemy of Poria cocos is termites. We can choose to use termites' natural enemies, ant bacteria, to control them, followed by mirex.
