Playful and lovely succulent plants are the first choice for many flower lovers to cultivate at home, on the one hand, because of their high appearance, and on the other hand, because of the relative ease of maintenance of succulent plants. But perhaps all the little friends who have grown succulent plants have encountered such a situation, that is, succulent plants will have withered leaves and fallen leaves. Many people think that this is a natural phenomenon, and of course, many soft-hearted friends express their heartache. So how should these withered leaves and fallen leaves be dealt with, and is there any way to prevent them? The following article will give you a lot of practical information.

What should I do with succulent withered leaves? Clean it up quickly!

As we introduced earlier, many people regard succulent dead leaves as a natural phenomenon, so they are left to fall in the basin. This is a big mistake. In fact, we must pay attention to the words "fast" and "ruthless" in dealing with the problem of succulent and withered leaves. Fast refers to the speed, the timely removal of dead leaves, while ruthless refers to strength, must not let the dead leaves stay in the succulent pot for too long. The reason for this is that if dead leaves accumulate, in the current high temperature, it is very easy to breed bacteria, so that meat infected with diseases and insect pests, if not handled properly, then lovely meat can be said to hang up!

Watch out! These causes lead to succulent dead leaves.

Succulent dead leaves do great harm, so how on earth do they come into being? In fact, there are two main reasons:

First of all, there is the natural phenomenon that we have just mentioned, which mainly occurs at the time when the meat has just been moved back home, because the succulent plant that has just been put on the pot requires a process of taking the pot, which consumes the old leaves, but then the new leaves will grow, and the succulent plants will grow normally. In addition, sometimes we also encounter the situation of water melting in the outer leaves, which requires us to remove the water leaves, and then put the succulent plants in a volume ventilated place to dry, and the basin soil must not be wet. Because keeping water leaves only increases the probability of bacteria and insect pests.

The second is the problem of watering, mainly due to the long-term lack of water in succulent plants, although we need to reduce the amount of water in summer, but it is definitely not completely cut off, because the growth of succulent plants still needs water replenishment. If this aspect is not in place, the water content of the leaves of succulent plants will naturally fail to keep up, and there will be a phenomenon of drying up, which is not only a blow to appearance. It is more likely to affect the normal growth of meat.

Master these three points and deal with dead leaves easily!

So what exactly are we supposed to do? In fact, the main methods can be divided into three points:

1. Replenish water properly. At present, it is still in the stage of high temperature, and the growth of succulent plants is slowing down or semi-dormant. At this time, the demand for water is reduced, and we can wait until the basin soil is completely dry and cracked before watering. However, there are two key points to be mastered here. First, watering must be thoroughly watered to avoid the emergence of yin and yang water. Secondly, for succulent plants, it is best not to let water splash on the leaves, so as not to burn the leaves because of the refraction of the sun.

2. Pay attention to the role of paving stones. There are paving stones on the surface of succulent plant basin soil, so after watering, there is a shop separation between the withered leaves at the bottom and the moist soil, and the leaves are well breathable, and the leaves will not be soaked by wet water vapor, so that they will not dry up so quickly.

If the withered leaves continue to appear, then it may be that there is a problem with the succulent root, which needs to be taken out for observation and treatment. The root system is not healthy enough and the absorption is not good, which leads to the deterioration of plant condition. At this time, too much watering is easy to rot, and less watering will lead to lack of water, so it is very important to grasp the moisture.
