The Story of Flower planting Entrepreneurship-- A Dream of Post-90s Flowers
In the cold winter, what can make Zhang Ting get up from the warm quilt on time every morning is the flowers blooming in the greenhouse. On December 9, the reporter walked into Zhangxi Village, Jibu Town, Gan County, and saw Zhang Ting, who was busy working in colorful potted flowers.
Born in 1991, Zhang Ting is the owner of the Huanduo Garden Center. He majored in horticulture at Zhang Ting University. After graduation, he engaged in horticultural management in a scenic spot in Ningbo. His working environment and treatment are good. In 2014, out of his love of major and optimism about the prospect of the flower market in his hometown, Zhang Ting came up with the idea of going back to his hometown to set up a horticultural center. If you want to do it, Zhang Ting quit his job and, with the support of his parents, invested 200000 yuan to rent 30 mu of farmland in his hometown. Although the center of Zhang Ting's garden is not far from home, he insists on eating and living in the garden and devotes all his energy to the cause of growing flowers. The flower bed is not yet powered on, and it is necessary to bring its own generator. Although the conditions are difficult, Zhang Ting still enjoys it.
Where there's a will, there's a way. Under the careful care of Zhang Ting, cyclamen, melon-leaf chrysanthemum, longevity flowers and other flowers cultivated in the flower bed are in full bloom, and people who appreciate and buy flowers come one after another. "if you want to add some spring to your home in winter, buy some pots to decorate at home, which is both beautiful and environmentally friendly." Ms. Liao, who came to visit and buy flowers, said happily.
Zhang Ting, who first tasted the sweetness, was determined to make his own characteristics. He not only provides "private customization" services for flower dealers, but also uses the innovative sales platform of the Internet to release supply and marketing information about all kinds of flowers through QQ, Wechat, etc., so as to broaden the channels of communication with consumers and provide consumers with flower nursing knowledge free of charge. "I want to build some leisure and entertainment facilities so that tourists who come to enjoy and buy flowers can have more fun." Zhang Ting is full of confidence.

During the May Day period this year, the Golden Rose Garden, located in Liangshui Village, Shuanggui Street, Liangping County, was officially opened to the public, with hundreds of mu of roses competing for beauty, making visitors linger.
Nie Quanhong, owner of the rose garden, told reporters that opening the garden means that "the long march of thousands of miles has gone halfway". His "Rose Dream" will not be realized until 2017, when a thousand mu of "Sea of Roses", which integrates rose ornamental processing, wedding photography and hotel accommodation, is completed.
Sprouting "Rose Dream"
When he was in college, Nie Quanhong found that the rose industry in Yunnan, Shandong, * * and other places had done well. "every day, millions of fresh roses are shipped to Chongqing from other places, which can be eaten in addition to viewing."
"the rose industry is in line with the background of ecological agriculture and must have prospects for development." Nie Quanhong said that he suddenly found the direction of future development.
After graduating from university in 2010, Nie Quanhong gave up the opportunity to teach at Chongqing Vocational and Technical College of Industry and returned to Liangshui Village, Shuanggui Street, Liangping County, where he contracted 400 mu of land and officially started the "Rose Tour".
It is difficult to follow the dream road
Like all entrepreneurs, Nie Quanhong's dream-chasing process is full of ups and downs.
At that time, the most dominant rose variety was "Chinese Red" edible rose, which had a high yield and a wide range of uses, with an annual flowering cycle of up to 10 months. At the end of 2012, Nie Quanhong went to Yunnan twice to meet Zhu Yingxiong, the "rose king" who holds the patent of "China Red". Zhu Yingxiong simply did not believe that the young man could bear to deal with mud and shut him down twice.
Nie Quanhong has a stubbornness in his bones. In June 2013, he went to Yunnan for the third time and found Zhu Yingxiong. He talked to Zhu Yingxiong about ecological agriculture, and the more they talked, the more they speculated. Finally, Zhu Yingxiong said, "you have a persistence rarely seen by ordinary young people. I am willing to give you the new variety."
Soon after the introduction, Nie Quanhong encountered another hurdle-most of the seedlings died that year after the seedlings were planted. He consulted a number of experts one after another, and finally figured out the reason: Liangping had high temperature and humidity, Rain Water was sufficient, and there was a large temperature difference between day and night, and roses from other places were easily disobedient.
Nie Quanhong repeatedly experimented with how to make rose seedlings adapt to the local climate. After more than half a year's efforts, he developed the "Rose Seedling Reproduction Technology". The survival rate of roses cultivated through this technique has increased from 50% in the past to 95%, and the yield per mu has also increased from 600 kg to 800 kg.
In the second Chongqing Youth Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the technology won the second prize of the Joint growth Group and received 200000 funding.
Ultimate dream: to increase the employment and income of the villagers
Through unremitting efforts, Nie Quanhong's rose garden has gradually become famous, attracting more and more tourists to visit, and the dried roses produced are also sold to Yunnan, Guangdong, * and other places.
Nie Quanhong is not satisfied with the status quo, he has a bigger dream: "to build the largest rose base in southwest China, which will have a greater pulling force on the economy of his hometown."
In October 2013, Nie Quanhong leased 1000 mu of land in Jinchengzhai, Jindai Town, and began to show his strength and attract local villagers to work in the park.
Chen Yiju, a villager of seven groups in Liangshui Village, Shuanggui Street, works in the rose garden. "close to home, I still have an income of 50 yuan a day, which is much more cost-effective than going out to work."
The rose garden does increase the income of the villagers. Tang Renping, director of the Shuanggui Street Office, said that when the rose garden is busy, there are 200 farmers working, and usually there are about 30, and the annual labor expenditure is about 800000 yuan. It is expected that 400 to 500 people will be employed when it is fully completed, which will make a great contribution to the local economic development and the tourism industry.
