The main role of star anise is to be used for seasoning, often appearing in various delicacies, can play an appetizing effect, for the big family of food we are definitely very familiar with star anise, and now its use range is wider than before, so the more star anise is planted, so what problems do you need to pay attention to in the process of planting star anise? Let's take a look at it together with the pro-agricultural network.

1. Sowing time

Star anise has certain requirements for the planting environment. We can't plant it casually because it is only a condiment. Star anise is particularly resistant to frost, so the planting time of star anise has a certain relationship with the planting place. In frost-free areas, it is usually planted between December and January of the following year, while frosty areas should be planted from February to March. At this time, the frost weather has passed and the temperature has slowly picked up. So you can plant it.

2. Sowing method

The seed method of star anise is usually the way of drilling, but the later stage needs to be transplanted. When sowing, pay attention to, in the whole ground to make a relatively uniform shallow ditch, generally four centimeters wide, two centimeters deep ditch, and then according to the distance between each plant four or five centimeters between each row of twenty centimeters to sow, and then with a layer of fine soil to cover the seeds, finally in the top covered with a layer of hay, poured water again, in order to be on the safe side can be covered with a layer of plastic film.

3. Reasonable close planting

The planting density is generally only paid special attention to when transplanting, because if the density is unreasonable, it is easy to cause some diseases and reduce production. We usually transplant in August every year. If it is fruit, it is best to transplant at intervals of four to five meters between rows and three to four meters between plants. However, if other uses need to be considered, the density can be adjusted appropriately, but the minimum distance between plants should not be less than 1.5 meters.

4. Scientific fertilization

In order to improve the survival rate of plants, fertilization is very critical when transplanting. We need to dig a hole first, then pile in appropriate compound fertilizer and stir a layer of yellow mud, which can improve the survival rate of aniseed. Second, the fertilization of star anise should pay attention to the age and intention, because different growth stages and different intentions require different nutrients. Young star anise trees need to be fertilized several times a year, but the amount of fertilizer is not large. The amount of fertilizer in a year does not exceed two kilograms. The second is that adult fruit trees only need to be fertilized twice a year. The total amount of fertilizer in a year is about 5,000 kilograms. Finally, if star anise is used for fruit, fertilizer needs to be applied during the fruit period, but he can specialize in urea with star anise.

5. Forest management

The most important problems in forest management are pruning branches and leaves and clearing forests. At the same time, pruning branches and leaves also needs to be divided into two stages. For young star anise trees, we prune branches and leaves mainly to promote the growth of lateral branches to achieve the effect of increasing yield, while for adult star anise trees, we mainly prune some old, weak, diseased and residual branches and leaves to achieve the effect of not reducing yield. Finally, in order to prevent the infection of pests and diseases, we must clean up the branches, weeds, fallen leaves, etc. in the forest in time, and disinfect them, so as to ensure the normal development and growth of the star anise tree.
