According to media reports, the Xinbei textile industry has declined rapidly in recent years. The New Taipei City Economic Development Bureau said that after a survey, the total production of textile-related industries in New Taipei City in 105 years reached more than 78.8 billion 89 million yuan, an increase of 2.4% over 100 years, there was no recession, and it was still showing a growth trend.

In order to assist the sustained and vigorous development of the textile industry in New Taipei City, in the face of international challenges, the New Taipei City Government has already actively promoted the following counseling measures: first, encourage R & D innovation: using local innovative R & D programs, a total of 16 manufacturers have been subsidized since 1999-106. the amount of subsidy is as high as 12.88 million yuan, among which Wu Fuyang knitting has been successfully transformed into a tourist factory. Promote industry-university cooperation, actively mediate with textile manufacturers in New Taipei City and design students of domestic colleges and universities, and innovate the design of functional fashion products. A total of 20 media companies drive the fashion design energy of New Taipei City and enhance the professionals.

Second, expand the international market: since 103, the International acquisition Conference has been held to assist Xinbei textile manufacturers to expand their exports. by 106, the international media business opportunity has exceeded 2.7 billion yuan, and it will be handled at the end of this month in 107. it is estimated that the purchasing opportunity will be US $15 million.

Third, single window dedicated service: since 101, the "New Taipei City Investment Promotion Association" mechanism has been launched to actively assist enterprises to remove possible obstacles to investment such as land, talent, capital, technology, administrative efficiency, and so on.

Xinbei textile industry has been transformed into a high-tech industry, giving full play to the advantages of global supply chain and vertical integration, and developing all kinds of trend products in the direction of high-tech and high added value. Many of them have succeeded in the transformation, including Xukuan enterprises, which have stepped into the field of clothing, dyeing and finishing, mainly for international brands such as adidas, Reebok, Himm, ZARA and so on. The municipal government will continue to make active efforts to guide and accelerate the development of the textile industry in Xinbei.
