Ps small kite is not a plant-related major, the following is really pure experience, there may be something wrong, but also relatively straightforward, there is no technical terminology, I hope you will take care of it.
The coordinates are Nanning, Guangxi, South China. The general environment is as follows: the spring is short and there is a terrible return to the south with water coming out of the wall; the summer is long, from April to the Mid-Autumn Festival, with flood season and typhoons; there are autumn tigers in autumn, and winter is equal to autumn in the north, with no snow.
In a word, it is recognized as the reverse hanging area and the dish area. Friends in Hainan should not raise their hands, they are all brothers and brothers, don't hurt each other.

I never shoot meat that has just been served, because I didn't raise it, and it's boring to shoot it.
In fact, winter is the opening period in southern China. We don't have to worry about snow and frostbite. We are only responsible for Meimei. If we take good care of it, we can keep the plant shape until June of the following year, and it will soon be autumn and winter again. As soon as it gets cold, it will be painted for a minute. I. Environment
1. Venue.
Before raising meat, you must decide where to put the meat. With regard to meat-raising venues, in the posts I have brushed in the past few years, I have seen open-air open canopies, open balconies, closed balconies, air conditioners, windows, floating windows, indoor desks, kitchens, basements, and even fully enclosed glassware and fish aquariums. But we should know that Jingtianke likes the light very much, so I suggest that the environment for raising meat should be in the balcony and ventilated balcony.
2. Light.
There is no condition for outdoor care, that is, most balcony parties (including me) can use the software of the compass to see the orientation of your balcony. If it is a south-facing balcony (such as me), it is very suitable for the growth of flesh. If there are no buildings or trees around, and pay attention to maintenance, I think raising in the south balcony is not inferior to outdoor breeding. Even I think the outdoor culture is still dusty, and there are birds and mice, , and sometimes the color of the meat raised on the balcony is quite pleasing. In the case of my south balcony, full sunshine in winter and spring (what is called full sunshine, a more common saying is that there will always be sunshine from the rise of the sun until it goes down). In summer, due to the change of the sun light, the sun light will slowly recover at noon, but the sun light will slowly recover from the Beginning of Autumn until late autumn, so I think the balcony facing south is very suitable for the growth of light-oriented plants.
As for the north balcony is more sad, the summer sun, but no sunshine in winter, completely reversed. In the case of the east balcony, it seems to me that it is half-sunny, which is inferior to that of the south balcony. At present, I have a flesh healing place on the east windowsill, where the weak meat that can not adapt to the strong sun will be put there, and then moved to the south balcony when it recovers. As for the west side, there are very few balconies of the house now, so the design faces west. The light is not enough, let's set up the supplementary light (I have never bought a light, but it is said to be in good shape).
3. Ventilation.
Well ventilated, you can live.
The balcony can be skipped, the balcony, can open the window as far as possible convection, convection, convection! Say important things three times! If it is closed balcony people walk in feel stuffy, fan set up, it is best to use a floor fan, shake his head, wind, hula blow, people are comfortable, meat is also comfortable. Poor ventilation is very easy to breed bacteria, what bituminous coal, leaves all kinds of black spots moldy particularly easy to get, a little careless black rotten water returned overnight before liberation, and the nasty shell is also ready to move.
At this point, why do I say that ventilation to form convection is the manual intervention of fans, not air conditioning? I have always opposed people using air conditioners to cool and ventilate meat, of course, we can also use air conditioners to cool meat. but the premise is that the air conditioner has been on for months throughout the hot summer, even if the air conditioner is not turned on one day or turned off during the day and night, it is not suitable for meat.
If you have to turn on the air conditioner to cool down, I think this is the only way to be effective: open the window while turning on the air conditioner and keep it uninterrupted throughout the summer.
But if I don't talk about you in the above way, even I dare not do this at home. My family will certainly object to it, and I can't bear the electricity bill. I don't know if you all feel very comfortable in an air-conditioned room. But once you turn off the air conditioner, people will immediately feel bored in the room, and then the heat will soon come up, or as soon as you get out of the air-conditioned room, there will be a hot wave. Meat is a very sensitive plant, so hot and cold, it is very easy to dissolve water.
But the fan plus window ventilation is different, you set up a fan to blow some plants, the posture is not as bold as opening the window while opening the air conditioner, the family does not have much opinion, and you can also achieve the purpose of ventilation, because meat is not afraid of high temperature, but stuffy.
4. Shelter from the rain
Many flower friends also asked me privately if there was a canopy on top. I said yes, and it must be. The temperature in summer is high, and you are in Guangxi, where there are flood seasons, typhoons, local showers, and people can't complain that the rain while the sun shines makes your life unlovable. Everyone can imagine that you are exposed to the rain and sun in summer. I won't say much here.
However, when the weather is cool, it will be all right to be caught in the rain, but we should pay attention to the futility of being caught in the rain too much. At this time, a rain shed can cover most of Rain Water. For some meat that is seriously short of water, does not take the pot for several months and does not die, I sometimes put them out in the rain. After a rain, the basin should be full and full.
5. Sunshade
According to my observation, except for some that are really sun-resistant (such as Ji Qiuli, obscure Moon, Mingyue, Baifeng, thick-leaf Blue Bird, Monroe, etc.), most of Sedum's sun-resistant ability is general, and the meat without a basin should not be sunburned immediately. Sunburn minute by minute, the sunshade net is still necessary to pull up in the morning, the net is mainly to block the summer afternoon sun, the net should not be covered tightly. This is more stuffy (contrary to the principle of ventilation and convection), it is necessary to observe the route of the sun and specifically block the sun.
Flowerpots
Let's talk about how to choose flowerpots.
1. The first is the material of the flowerpot. Today's flowerpots on the market include ceramic, rough pottery, red pottery, black pottery, purple sand, Maifan stone, tile, weaving basket, plastic, and so on. I personally think that in addition to those ceramic flowerpots glazed on both sides, there are also red pottery flowerpots that are too breathable. Flowerpots of the above materials are acceptable, including plastic flowerpots.
Ceramic pots, glazed inside and outside, were not good at planting sedum, so they planted golden fingers, which have been exposed to the sun and rain all day for several years.

Speaking of plastic flowerpots, some flower friends may object, but I have no objection to plastic flowerpots. Plastic flowerpots are typically represented by what we affectionately call "small black square" with a mouth of 7cm black square pots. The greenhouse is everywhere, in 2014 or even before, it is widely used by everyone, and so far I have been using it. Why do I not resist Xiao Hei Fang? because plastic flowerpots are usually produced in batch factories, there are many leaking holes under them, which are very suitable for drainage. You can observe those plastic flowerpots in the flower market, no matter what pattern they are made. there are a lot of bottom holes.

2. Next is the bottom hole of the flowerpot. I personally pursue the bottom hole, even more than the material of the flowerpot, of course, the material is also very important. There is nothing else, as long as the bottom hole is big enough, about 2 centimeters, which is good for drainage, it is suitable for me to grow Sedum. As for the small bottom hole basin, many of them are used by me to grow twelve rolls, because the twelve rolls need more water.
3. The collocation of flowerpot and meat. I won't say much about this. The benevolent see benevolence, the wise see wisdom. In principle, big meat with large basin, small meat with small basin, cliff old pile with high basin, twelve rolls and apricot with high basin (root length), Sedum with shallow basin (root short). Personally, I like to use a square pot with an inner caliber of about 5 centimeters. When it comes to this, I think of the small black square just mentioned, and the size of the small black square is really very appropriate. No matter how small the inner diameter is, for example, I really can't grow a caliber of 2 centimeters, at least more than 3 centimeters.

III. Soil distribution
Many flower friends also asked me what kind of soil I used and why the meat raised had short leaves, good color and compact plant type. Here, I would like to tell you that the meat is in a state, although we also need to choose breathable soil. however, it is not possible to grow short and fat by using a certain type (such as golden soft wheat rice that was very popular before) or a certain brand of soil. However, due to the excessive publicity of some businesses, many people feel that using a certain kind of soil can turn your skirt meat into short, fat and round meat. I don't mean anything against any brand of soil here. I also think it's easier to buy ready-made soil, but if you don't use good soil to raise meat, everything will be fine. Good dirt is breathable.
In fact, the soil I use is very simple, not full-grained: a large mixture of all kinds of 3-6 granular soil (including red jade, deer marsh, volcanic stone, wheat rice, blue stone, coarse sand, rainbow stone, etc.) plus 30% peat soil, rice husk charcoal sometimes adds a little.
Some treasures of granular soil are sold everywhere, peat is best to choose foreign brands, K brand, big man, I think almost, buy fine, if the flowerpot is more breathable (such as big holes, woven baskets, etc.) or the pot is small, I will add the appropriate proportion of peat. After burying a small amount of Japanese DX small white medicine on the basin to prevent shell insects, the pavement soil mostly likes heavier granular soil, such as Maifan stone, coarse sand, and red jade, because later watering if the pavement is light, the water will be washed to pieces and stick to the meat will affect the appearance.

Fourth, watering
If someone tells you that the fixed way of watering X times a week, X times a month, and X times XX days, you can choose to ignore it. Watering can not rely on this kind of fixed rigid time watering, this is very irresponsible, but it is very helpless that there are still many beginners who will ask how many days to water.
In the case of Jingtian, based on the basin, I see that the leaves are wrinkled and watered again. Foliage wrinkles are a signal to you that you need to drink water. If the leaves are still full, don't be cheap.
Choose a windy night in summer. If you can't wait for a strong wind and no rain in the near future, but it's too dry and needs watering, set up a fan after watering. Don't run out of water in summer, the roots will dry to death. Twenty degrees can be thoroughly watered, less than 35 degrees above 30 degrees, don't water more than 35 degrees, it's too hot.
Plants without roots, do not water, will rot, because it has no roots to absorb water.
You can watch the weather forecast APP to push or follow the official social account of the local weather station. If it rains recently, it is an open balcony, you don't have to water it and wait for the rain to quench your thirst.
Watering can not be figured out overnight. The motherland has a vast territory and a different climate. I can only slowly grope for my own weather. My watering method is not completely suitable for you. I can only observe the state of the plants and judge them slowly. who didn't come here on carcasses?
5. Fertilization
If you want to, you can add some slow-release fertilizer when dispensing the soil. I have bought slow-release fertilizer and liquid fertilizer myself, but I have been so lazy that I have accumulated dust. I can't remember to use it once in months. Please feel free to do so. I don't think it will change much. I have a personal opinion.
VI. Related to sterilization and insecticidal
1. Killing insects.
I believe everyone is no stranger to shell insects. I suggest you bury dx in spring, which is that kind of small white medicine, which is really easy to use. you don't have to spray to make the flesh wet. I bought the whole bag of original. According to the instructions, bury it shallowly according to the size of the basin, pour a small amount of water to melt it, and don't pile it all on one side when burying it. It's easy to form a plate when watered. Check the record of a treasure seems to be used in January 15, since it has never been like the 14-year super explosion, a lot less, you know, the shell explosion of that terrible terror!
As for other bugs, I haven't seen them yet.
Another point is that when it is found that no matter how the meat is watered, the leaves are not full, there is absolutely something wrong with the root. Pull it out and see if there is a shell. I have encountered many times. There is no clue from the leaves, no worms climb out, and there is no black mucus in the heart of the leaves, but as soon as they are pulled out, many insects bite on the roots, which are very abominable and disgusting. They kill the roots, and the meat cannot absorb water through the roots. Life can only be sustained by consuming leaves, not in good condition. At this time, I will dump all the soil, get rid of the dead roots, wash the basin and roots if necessary, replace the new soil, bury the dx, and wait for the basin to be re-served.
2. Sterilization.
The propagation rate of bacteria is also very fast as soon as the day is hot. Bituminous coal comes without paying attention to bituminous coal. Bituminous coal is a very difficult disease and will keep losing leaves. To put it this way, I would rather have a shell than get bituminous coal. Bituminous coal is very stubborn. Although bituminous coal will gradually fade with the cold weather, it is not completely extinct, and the hot weather on my side lasts longer than cold and humid air. Even the pots are moldy, not to mention bituminous coal.
At present, I prepare all kinds of fungicides when the weather is ready to be hot. I spray one at a time, wearing a glove mask every half a month, and buy that pressurized spray can with a capacity of 2 liters, which is easy to use. Don't be lazy, and don't think that fungicides need to be fully armed and dare not operate. Have you ever seen such disgusting bugs as shell insects, are you still afraid of taking drugs? It takes no time to use a pressure pot and does not take good precautions. Once germs break out and spread, almost every one of them will get sick, which is the rhythm of annihilation!
As for fungicides, I have mancozeb, prochloraz, promethazine, propofol, etc. (no carbendazim). If you have symptoms, if you think it is already serious, give up if you can.
7. Seasons
We have talked about daily maintenance in the general environment, such as choosing suitable sites, soil allocation, watering, insecticide and sterilization, and so on. Finally, I would like to summarize what needs to be done in four different seasons.
1. Winter.
In South China, the temperature in winter is equal to that in autumn in the north, that is, in the no-winter area, it will not be too cold to snow (there is a cold winter that will snow a little, but it is very rare and can not be compared with the snow in the north at all), so since raising meat, winter is my favorite weather, the colder the more excited! Most like to patrol the meat on the balcony in the cold wind and cold rain!
In the early winter, it is very suitable for meat to change the soil to change the pot and the new meat on the basin, if you want to buy, take action! Because our winter is also short, we do not change soil and pots in winter. When spring comes, it will soon get hot, and when we return to the south, it will become moldy everywhere, and it will be a little late to put on the basin again. The basin also has a process. If the roots are not good, it will be more difficult in summer.
2. Spring.
All things grow in the season, insects also wake up, the general maintenance of spring is to bury pesticides, spring does not kill insects, summer is only sad.
New meat can also be added at this time.
3. Summer.
Summer maintenance has actually been mentioned above, so I won't repeat it here. Summer is not suitable for new meat, and any meat-related operations, such as beheading and root trimming, are not recommended.
4. Autumn.
Don't think that everything will be all right after the hot summer, but you don't know that a lot of meat is easy to have an accident in early autumn. For me, the light of the sun has changed, slowly turning into full sunshine, from morning to night, but the temperature is still very high. Don't be careless at this time, thinking that autumn is coming and summer is over and you can bask in the sun.
Finally, a lot of empty pots were harvested.
It's actually very easy to get sunburn at this time. As far as I am concerned, it is rainy in Guangxi in July, and the subtropical high goes northward, and the temperature is really not high. When the sky is hot and hot in the north, we sometimes sleep comfortably at night without blowing a fan. So it was not until the temperature rose in early August and found several basins of meat sunburned that I officially pulled out the sunshade, and I planned to pull it until the end of the autumn tiger weather.
After a lot of garrulous talk, it can be summed up to a few points: good lighting in the general environment (as far as possible), adequate ventilation (creating convective fans), breathable soil (soft soil in the bottom hole), don't be cheap in watering, and apply medicine regularly to achieve these points. Not afraid of meat is not beautiful.
