Luohanguo, known as "immortal fruit", is one of the commonly used traditional Chinese medicine in China, which has the effect of relieving cough and cooling blood. In addition to its wide medicinal area in our country, it is also one of the most important exported traditional Chinese medicine. And now people pay more and more attention to the role of traditional Chinese medicine, the development of traditional Chinese medicine will be faster and faster, and the demand for Siraitia grosvenorii will be increasing. There are also a series of management methods after planting. What the editor brings today is the field management method of Siraitia grosvenorii after planting.

1. Build a shed to support the vine

Siraitia grosvenorii is a kind of vine, so it needs scaffolding to climb in the process of growth, so that Siraitia grosvenorii can grow smoothly and can start to build a shed after successful planting. The shed is usually supported by bamboo or trees, the height of the shed is generally between 1.5-2 meters, put an appropriate amount of bamboo or branches on the roof, and then insert a small bamboo next to the plant. Provide the plant with a fulcrum for climbing, and remove the side branches from the top of the vine when the seedlings are almost centimeters long, leaving only the main vine. The aim is to make the main vine grow rapidly, tie the main vine to the bamboo when it grows to 30 centimeters, help it on the shed manually, and help it up in time if there is a fall. So that the vines can grow.

2. Weeding and topdressing

Weeding and topdressing of Siraitia grosvenorii is very important, at least three times a year, the first time around April, and once a thin farm manure is applied when the seedlings reach 30cm. For the second time, after the main vine was successfully put on the shed in May, manure and peanut bran were applied. The third time is around September, when it comes to the flowering and fruiting period of Siraitia grosvenorii, mixed fertilizer is applied every 1-2 weeks, mainly by potash fertilizer, which promotes the growth and expansion of the fruit. In the hillside where the tuber is similar to 30cm, do not apply fertilizer to the tuber.

3. Artificial pollination

The success probability of natural pollination of Siraitia grosvenorii is relatively low, so artificial pollination is also an important measure for Siraitia grosvenorii growth, which can effectively improve plant fruiting rate and increase yield. When Siraitia grosvenorii blossoms in summer, pick the blooming male flowers every morning, gently scratch the pollen with cotton swabs or bamboo swabs, and then point the pollen on the style of the female flowers. Be careful not to make too much effort, so as not to destroy the style of female flowers. A male flower can give about 10-20 female flowers, pollination can not be delayed until noon, noon and afternoon pollination effect will become worse. And the pollen will be used up on the same day.

4. Overwintering management

After the Beginning of Winter, you should immediately prepare Siraitia grosvenorii for overwintering, first cut off about ten centimeters on the stem of the main vine with a knife. Gently press down the vine and apply fully rotten cow pen dung to the canopy. Mix all the dung and soil well, and then apply them to the place around the plant about 40cm as heat preservation fertilizer. Vines and tubers should be buried in the soil, and if they encounter windy and snowy weather, they should be covered with a plastic film that keeps pores, keep warm and prevent frost, dredge the drainage ditch of the orchard and prevent water retting.

The above is the field management that needs to be done in the process of planting Siraitia grosvenorii. It is particularly important to note that when overwintering management, the main vine can not be directly broken or twisted at the junction of tubers, so it will not have any effect. And in winter, the withered vines on the roof should be cleared, centralized treatment, and orchards should be disinfected to eliminate potential overwintering pests and reduce the source of insect disease in the coming year.
