Varieties of canna

1. Safflower canna: red flowers, solitary. Bracts ovate, green, ca. 1.2 cm. Sepals 3, lanceolate, ca. 1 cm, green and sometimes red. Corolla tube less than 1 cm long, Corolla lobes lanceolate, 3-3.5 cm long, green or red. Outer whorl staminodes 3-2, bright red. This kind of flower is small and mainly appreciates leaves.

2. Yellow canna: Corolla and staminodes apricot yellow are different from orthodox species. Inflorescence solitary and loose, few flowers, few bracts, flowers large and soft, downward reverse, the lower part is cylindrical, yellowish, lip round.

3. Two-color mandarin duck canna: introduced from South America, it is a rare treasure in the genus Canna. It is named for its bright red and five-star yellow flowers on the same flower stem. What is even more strange is that the red petals are dotted with bright yellow stars, and the five-star yellow petals are decorated with bright red spots.
