Apple is one of the bulk fruits in our life, and we all know its nutritional value like the back of our hand, and now the output of apples is not low, but many apples do not grow very well. That's why there are all kinds of unhealthy apples on the market, such as coloring, waxing and so on. In fact, the poor quality of apples is largely related to fertilization. Let's learn how to fertilize apple trees correctly and efficiently with pro-agriculture network.

1. Base fertilizer

The base fertilizer of apple trees is to use organic fertilizer, because organic fertilizer is more conducive to soil absorption, which can greatly improve the quality of soil, thus improving the quality and yield of apples. General organic fertilizer is the decaying products such as livestock manure and cornstalk, that is, organic fertilizer is the best nutrient to be absorbed in the early stage of apple trees. in general, it takes about 3,000 to 5,000 jin per mu. When applying fertilizer, you need to dig a hole at a certain interval, and then fill the fertilizer into the pit, and finally plant it, so that the apple tree can absorb it better. So as to accelerate the growth rate.

2. Growth fertilizer

Growth fertilizer is also called pre-flowering fertilizer, which requires a fertilization before flowering. The main purpose of this fertilization is to promote the growth of branches and leaves, and then quickly enter the flowering stage, so we mainly use ammonia fertilizer, but the amount of nitrogen fertilizer should not be too much, otherwise it will lead to the growth of branches and leaves, thus delaying the fruiting period, so that the best expiration will be missed, resulting in a reduction in apple yield. In general, an acre of land needs an average of 500 jin of nitrogen fertilizer, followed by the auxiliary use of 20 jin of phosphate fertilizer and 20 jin of potash fertilizer, of course, you can also use an appropriate amount of urea, fertilizing with the way of root irrigation, so that the roots can be absorbed more easily.

3. Promoting flower fertilizer

Promoting flower fertilizer is a relatively important stage in the growing period of apples. normally, alkaline fertilization is applied about a week before the fruit tree blossoms, of course, at the latest, when individual flowers appear sporadically in the fruit trees. one of the effects of promoting flower fertilizer is to promote flowering, and at the same time, it can prolong the flowering period, which can increase the fruit setting rate to a certain extent. At the same time, promoting flower fertilizer also has a more important role is to protect the fruit, which can reduce the probability of fruit drop. During this period, we are mainly potash fertilizer and phosphate fertilizer, foliar spraying, which can achieve a good effect of promoting flowers and protecting fruits.

4. Strong fruit fertilizer

Strong fruit fertilizer basically determines the quality of the apple, usually when the apple is the size of an egg. At this time, we mainly use boron fertilizer and some chemicals specifically aimed at the growth of the fruit and a small amount of efficient potash fertilizer to spray the fruit. This can promote the growth of the apple and shorten the growth cycle. At the same time, it can also ensure the taste of the apple and the apple to grow more round, regular, free of deformities and defects. Secondly, during this period of time, the apple is slowly growing up, and at the same time, it is also slowly coloring, which can make the apple color more evenly and look very appetite. many apples on the market are red and green, which is very incongruous. that is because the strong fruit fertilizer is not applied well.

5. Curing fertilizer

In fact, conservation fertilizer is just like the base fertilizer in the second year, usually after all the apples have been harvested. We mainly use organic rotten fertilizer or plant ash for accumulation, or strip and furrow application. At the same time, we can also use things like withered grass, but we must wait until it is rotten before it can be used, and plant ash can not be released until it is cooled. This can prevent the aging of apple trees and lay the foundation for high yield in the coming year.
