The Beginning of Autumn is coming, and the hot summer is almost over. As soon as the weather is cool, Hua Hua is wondering what kind of plant to plant in autumn. After hours of thinking and thinking, I finally locked the target on the little tomato! Small tomatoes, also known as virgin fruit, are small and exquisite, so they are the most suitable for breeding in the family. It is simply killing two birds with one stone to kill two birds with one stone, not only the joy of planting, but also the joy of harvest.

So Huahua looked through a lot of materials, summed up a few points that need to be paid attention to when growing small tomatoes, and told you that friends who also want to grow small tomatoes like Huahua can have a reference!

Preparatory work

Before planting small tomatoes, it is important to note that if the soil is taken from downstairs or in the fields, remember to screen the soil and sift out large granular clods or gravel. The fertilizer in the soil must be fermented and rotten organic fertilizer. If it is chemical fertilizer, it will be unhealthy for us to eat.

Raising seedlings and accelerating germination

The seeds of small tomatoes have to go through two processes of seedling breeding and sprouting before planting. When raising seedlings, soak the tomatoes in warm water at 55 degrees for 15-20 minutes and keep stirring. When the water is cooled to about 28 degrees, soak the seeds in it for 12 to 24 hours and change the water once or twice in between. When sprouting, drain the seeds from the water and put them in a wet towel. Keep the environment around the towel at 28-30 degrees Celsius. Wash it once a day and germinate in one or two days.

Planting

Pour the soil thoroughly the day before, put the germinated tomato seeds in the 1cm hole that has been dug, and spread a layer of loose soil on it, not too thick, 0.5 to 1cm is enough. Before the small tomato seedlings come out, the soil should be moist to give the baby tomato seedlings a better growth environment. When the tomato seedlings break the soil and the leaves grow to five or six leaves, watering should pay attention to "dry and wet".

Transplant

After more than one number of leaves, you can transplant. It is important to move the small mounds in the small flowerpot to the large flowerpot, so as to ensure the survival of the small tomato can make the small tomato grow better.

Result

After waiting for the plant to blossom, it is necessary to water thoroughly and apply additional fertilizer. After that, every seven days will be watered and fertilized, and small hooks can be used to loosen the soil. When the plant grows taller, about 40 centimeters can be used as a support for the small tomato, anyway, the small tomato plant grows askew.

It takes about 90 days for the baby tomato to grow to bear fruit. Although it has been a little hard work in these 90 days, I believe you will find it all worth it when you taste the fruit of the little tomato.
