Cauliflower has been at a low ebb for a long time, but in recent years, cauliflower has suddenly sprung up, it looks very similar to lilies, but the color is yellow, and secondly, it is also very similar to okra. If you are not familiar with these two kinds of vegetables, you are likely to admit your mistake. Cauliflower has the effects of anti-aging, heat-clearing and detumescence, and it is a favorite of many women, so today the pro-agriculture network will teach you how to fertilize cauliflower to make it with higher yield and better quality.

1. Base fertilizer

Base fertilizer is the basis for high yield of cauliflower, so when we plant it, we must apply enough base fertilizer, which can be more but not less. The basic fertilizer of cauliflower is mainly suitable for farm fertilizer or organic fertilizer. Secondly, we can apply some chemical fertilizers with more soil properties. For example, there are relatively few trace elements in the soil, so we need to mix some calcium fertilizer, zinc fertilizer, iron fertilizer and so on. On average, 3,000 to 5,000 jin of potash fertilizer is needed for agricultural machinery per mu, followed by a total amount of chemical fertilizer of about 100 jin.

2. Seedling fertilizer

After planting, the first topdressing is seedling fertilizer, which can promote the growth of cauliflower seedlings, let it grow branches and leaves quickly, and lay the foundation for flower bolts and buds in the later stage. The time of fertilization is generally about a week after planting. As cauliflower can be harvested for many years, seedling fertilizer must be applied in the later stage, and the earlier the later stage, the better. Seedling fertilizer we generally use high-efficiency nitrogen fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer, potash fertilizer mixed application, and can also be replaced by feces and urine water, but in the feces and urine water need to add an appropriate amount of urea and phosphate fertilizer for irrigation, which is also very good.

3. Bolting fertilizer

Bolting fertilizer is very important, because the number of flower bud differentiation largely determines the number of flower buds, and the number of flower buds also determines the yield of cauliflower, so bolting fertilizer is a very key step. At this stage, the fertility needed for cauliflower accounts for 70% of the total growth period, so fertilization must be adequate, at least to ensure that the differentiation of bolts will not be affected, so bolting fertilizer can be divided into three stages of fertilization. The first time is at the beginning of differentiation, when we are mainly spraying urea and potash fertilizer, and the second time is the beginning of differentiation, we mainly use potash fertilizer and phosphate fertilizer as auxiliary foliar fertilizer, and the third time is the peak period of differentiation. At this time, we need to increase the amount of fertilizer, the type of fertilizer applied is the same as the second time.

4. Flower fertilizer

After the flower differentiation of cauliflower is completed, it enters the flowering stage, and flower fertilizer mainly plays a role in increasing the yield of cauliflower, as well as preventing the aging and reducing yield of cauliflower seedlings. Fertilization can be carried out at the flowering stage to keep the cauliflower seedlings green, and at the same time, the buds can be thicker and fuller and accelerate the growth rate of the buds. We need about 10 jin of urea, five jacks of potash fertilizer and five jin of calcium fertilizer to be irrigated per mu, and we can also spray a certain dose of gibberellin, which has a very obvious effect on flower protection. Finally, it should be noted that because cauliflower can be harvested in multiple batches, flower fertilizer needs to be irrigated many times.

5. Curing fertilizer

Conservation fertilizer is also very important for cauliflower, because it is mainly based on the yield in the coming year, so if you want to have a high yield in the coming year, conservation fertilizer is necessary. The time of fertilizer application is usually carried out after the last harvest of cauliflower, otherwise if the nutrition is insufficient, a lot of cauliflower seedlings will wither. Conservation fertilizer we mainly use organic fertilizer, which accumulates in the root of cauliflower, which is conducive to the absorption and maintenance of fertility, so that it can last until the spring of next year.
