Broussonetia papyrifera, also known as Broussonetia papyrifera, Broussonetia papyrifera and so on, is a deciduous tree plant of Moraceae with high cultivation value. Its leaves are very good pig feed, phloem fiber is an advanced raw material for papermaking, roots and seeds can be used as medicine, and tree sap can treat skin diseases. let's take a look at the seed price and planting method of Broussonetia papyrifera.

How much is the seed of Broussonetia papyrifera?

The price of Broussonetia papyrifera seeds is about 60,100 yuan per jin, but it varies greatly due to different seed quality, variety, producing area, market and so on. Broussonetia papyrifera likes light, has strong adaptability, is resistant to drought and barren, resistant to smoke and dust, and has strong resistance to air pollution. Seeds or cuttings are often used in production. In order to overcome a large number of fruit drop of female plants at maturity and affect environmental hygiene, male plants can be used as scions to cultivate grafted seedlings.

Sowing method of Broussonetia papyrifera

1. Land selection and preparation: for Broussonetia papyrifera seedlings, the leeward, loose, fertile, deep and non-stagnant soil should be selected as nursery land, and soil preparation and fertilization should be carried out one month before sowing, combined with 150 kg of crushed cake fertilizer or 1000 kg of barnyard manure per mu.

2. Sowing time: Broussonetia papyrifera is usually sowed in mid-or late March. Before sowing, the seeds should be soaked in clean water for 2 to 3 hours. After being removed and dried, the seeds should be evenly mixed with fine sand twice as much as the seeds, and stacked indoors for sprouting. When the seeds have 30% split mouth, they can be sowed.

3. Sowing method: Broussonetia papyrifera is sown by strip sowing method, the sowing rate is about 0.15 kg per mu, the seeds and fine sand are mixed evenly and scattered into the ditch, cover the soil with no seeds, sow the grass after sowing, and remove the cover grass in batches in the afternoon when 30% of the seedlings are unearthed.

Planting methods of Broussonetia papyrifera

1. Planting density: planting density: afforestation is not limited by conditions and landforms. It can be planted in ditches, ponds, reservoir banks, both sides of streams, in front and behind houses, and the planting density varies according to the purpose of forest management.

2. Tending and management: young Broussonetia papyrifera forest land is easy to grow miscellaneous irrigation, which affects the growth of trees. In order to make the forest appearance tidy, grow healthily, and improve the yield and quality of the forest, cutting and removing irrigation should be carried out once or twice a year, and if necessary, ploughing, weeding and fertilization can be carried out in the woodland.

3. Truncated regeneration: after 2 years of planting, the Broussonetia papyrifera should be cut off from the 30cm to 50cm of the trunk to promote its sprouting branches, and the scattered and mature old trees should be timely truncated and renewed to promote their branches, increase the yield per unit area, and facilitate leaf harvesting and peeling at the same time.

4. pest control: the main diseases and insect pests of Broussonetia papyrifera are bituminous coal disease and longicorn beetle. Bituminous coal disease can be sprayed with stone-sulfur mixture every 15 days for 2 or 3 times. Longicorn beetles were sprayed with 800-fold mixture of dichlorvos and trichlorfon, or put dichlorvos solution into the wormhole with skimmed cotton balls.
