With regard to the imbalance in the production and marketing of agricultural products this year, as agricultural processors, we feel absolutely no less than farmers: the land prices of some agricultural products are 50% lower than those in previous years, and farmers of more different items ask that the object of processing cooperation and processing has changed from special products to general products. "extra Agricultural products" was founded in 2015 to make good use of the "extra products" from the place of origin to make processed products. The term "extra product" comes from Japanese and describes agricultural products that are "outside the specification". For example, agricultural products that are too large and small and sell poorly but of good quality are sometimes more suitable for processing purposes. Compared with Taiwan's use of NG products and inferior products, the word "extra products" is much more neutral and equal. In addition to the above two reasons, such as pineapples, bananas and dragon fruits whose prices have collapsed because of surplus this year, have become the third special product.

We are looking for farmers who can have a clear classification, stable supply and safe drug use verification, and purchase jam whose special products are made into 100% artificial additives. This choice seems common, but the difference is that, after two years of market evaluation, we gradually shift the original B2C to B2B selling mode, that is, making jam a raw material for other products, such as Fruit and tea from beverage shops, desserts from coffee shops, condiments from brunch shops, and so on. As a matter of fact, thanks to the problem of food safety, more stores are beginning to seek safer and natural raw material suppliers. At the same time, we have adjusted our production model, greatly increased the purchase of agricultural products, and moved towards the direction of supply throughout the year.

Agriculture is not only an industry of life, but also a bargaining chip in international trade. It is hoped that the government will not only devote itself to the balance of agricultural production and marketing, but also assist processors to invest in the R & D and marketing of local agricultural products.
