When it comes to turning over the pot for succulent plants, many flower friends worry that they will not be able to raise succulent plants after changing pots. "changing pots to die" has always been the main reason why meat friends do not dare to change pots easily, but what I want to tell my friends is that instead of letting succulent plants be consumed there inexplicably, it is better to give it a chance to grow again. As long as the method is used correctly, even if the basin is changed in summer, the succulent plant will still burst!

Before changing pots for succulent plants, you should first see if they need to change pots, because most succulent plants change pots slowly in summer. After all, the temperature is high, so there is no need to turn pots if succulent plants are healthy. You can refer to the following points to see whether the succulent plant in the family needs to be changed: the succulent plant in the combination pot is too crowded; the flowerpot is too small; the soil is not good; the root of the succulent plant is beyond the flowerpot; the succulent plant that should have grown has not grown new leaves all the time. Of course, most of the dormancy grows slowly in summer, and the temperature is not so high in spring and autumn, which is the best season to change pots.

When succulent plants change pots, be careful not to pull hard when taking out succulent plants, and you can dig out the complete roots with the help of small shovels and other tools; followed by cleaning the root soil, this step is easy to hurt the roots, and it is recommended that the action be light; after removing the floating soil, it is necessary to trim the dry dead roots, leaving only strong roots. First of all, prepare a larger flowerpot, the depth of the flowerpot is selected according to the root growth requirements of the plant, for beginners, it is recommended to first use mud pots and pottery pots, good air permeability, the plant is not easy to accumulate water and black rot.

To judge whether the succulent plant has taken the basin or not, it can be inferred from the time, which usually takes about two weeks. Then from the state of the plant to judge whether the plant leaves are full, especially the outer circles of the leaves, whether there are new leaves. If the blade as a whole is a little wrinkled; the new leaf is full, the outer leaves are still wrinkled. Then it is not a serving basin, and it is not suitable for receiving strong sunshine. In the case of not taking the basin, as long as it does not fade and grow, it is better to have less light. Some succulent pots with thin leaves sometimes consume about a circle, while other obviously empty leaves on the outside are usually consumed.

If the leaves of the plant are full, you can gently lift the succulent plant by hand to feel whether there are roots or not, because some succulent leaves may still be full even if they do not grow roots. The leaves are full, grow new leaves, and do not move lightly, which basically means that you have taken the basin and can begin to gradually increase the sunshine to the whole day. If you have not taken the basin, it has been planted for two or three weeks, or even two or three months, it can be placed in a place where there is no direct light to keep the basin soil moist and stimulate roots.

If handled properly, new small roots can grow in a week, even in a hot summer, as long as there is a ventilated environment, and then do not go to the sun and watering, there is no problem. After a period of time, depending on the dryness and humidity of the basin soil, you will find that succulent plants will soon begin to grow new leaves, and the maintenance environment in each place is different. In general, water can be supplied in half a month, and there is a tendency to burst the basin in 2 or 3 months.
