Gentleman orchid, when blooming, the flowers hang in the middle of the branches, especially good-looking. Coupled with the thick green leaves, it is a kind of flower with both flowers and leaves. However, many flower friends are always unable to raise gentleman orchids, and there will be problems during each season transition period. Today, I would like to share with you about the conservation of the four seasons of Magnolia in spring, summer, autumn and winter.

1. Spring-avoid blowing by the wind

In early spring, after hibernation, the root system began to recover. Due to the lack of nutrient supply, once the wind and the sun, the leaves will be dehydrated. The gentleman orchid is resistant to drought and waterlogging, and the pot plant can be kept generally moist, too much watering, and easy to rot the root.

2. Summer-taboo sun

Gentleman orchids are afraid of direct light and like semi-shade, so the requirements of upbringing in midsummer are: first, shade, it is best to put potted plants in the shade, especially to avoid direct sunlight at noon.

Second, to reduce the temperature, in addition to putting the pot plants in a cool and ventilated place, but also often spray water to cool down, the temperature should be controlled below 25 ℃, and the humidity should be 60% to 70%.

Third, it is necessary to reduce fertilization. When the temperature of Cymbidium is above 25 ℃, it is necessary to appropriately reduce or stop fertilization. Too much fertilization will burn out the fleshy roots. If the temperature is right, use Cymbidium organic liquid fertilizer, diluted 500 times to irrigate the root.

Third, watering, when the basin soil is semi-dry, it should be watered, but it should be watered thoroughly, do not let water flow into the leaves, so as to avoid bad heart.

3. Autumn-avoid rain and spray water

In autumn, the climate is getting colder and cooler. In the days of continuous autumn rain, adult gentlemen enter the seed ripening stage or bud stage (promoting arrows to blossom). At this time, if they are drenched or watered too much, it will lead to rotten roots, rotten arrows, rotten hearts and so on. Therefore, avoid spraying water when the arrow blossoms. 0.5% potassium dihydrogen phosphate should be irrigated every half month or so.

4. Winter-avoid low temperature and dryness

In winter, when the orchid is at a low temperature below 5 ℃, the basin soil must be kept at about 70% humidity so that it will not be frostbitten by dryness. If the moisture is less than 20%, it is vulnerable to dry freezing and death.
