How to raise Landrace pigs
Pork is one of the meats that every household often eats. At present, the most sold in the market are white pigs, and the largest number of white pigs are Landrace pigs and large white pigs, so how to raise the best income for this pig? Pro-agricultural network is here to give you a general explanation.
1. Culture environment
Many farmers think that the environment has little impact on pigs, so they do not pay much attention to daily management, because it is indeed time-consuming and laborious to manage pig pens, which is actually wrong. Landrace pigs generally come as lean pigs, so first of all, try to control the temperature at about 21 degrees, which will make the lean meat grow the fastest; secondly, the ventilation condition of the pig house is better, and the humidity is controlled at about 50%, so that the environmental pig will be more active and the pig will have less fat. Secondly, pig manure had better be cleaned twice a day, before feeding in the morning and after feeding in the afternoon. Only in this way can pigs grow healthily. Generally speaking, 4-5 heads per enclosure are more appropriate.
2. Feeding and feeding
Landrace pigs are generally fed three times in the morning, middle and evening, not all for feed, but need to be properly fed with some plant forage. When feeding, the rice shell can be ground and mixed with wet feed, which will be more nutritious and more beneficial to the absorption of pigs. Landrace pigs should not be fed too much feed after 100 jin, which will increase the fat of pigs, which is not conducive to the output of lean meat. The feeding time should not be too late at night, as it is easy to precipitate the fat of pigs.
3. Disease prevention
Landrace pig is a kind of fragile pig, the most common disease of piglet is diarrhea, which can easily lead to death of Landrace pig if it is not found in time. Pay more attention to it if you find that piglet has a poor appetite or pig feces are yellowish. Diarrhea can only be treated with general drugs, and it can also be raised in advance, which is basically caused by the failure of sanitary disinfection and monotonous feed. Big pigs are prone to cracked hooves, which is what the pro-farm network said earlier, caused by excessive pig fat and excessive pressure on pig hooves. Just pay more attention to this when feeding.
The yield and return of this breed of Landrace pig are good, but if you pay attention to all aspects of details during breeding, there will be a higher return. If you have any experience in raising Landrace pig, you can share it with us.
