Hawthorn is a kind of fruit belonging to Rosaceae, which is now mainly used to make Hawthorn slices and Hawthorn tea for human consumption. Hawthorn can promote digestion, reduce blood lipids, and has the bacteriostatic effect of inhibiting bacteria. It is a popular crop at present. Here are the basic conditions for growing Hawthorn.

1. Environment

Hawthorn has a strong ability to adapt to the environment and likes cool and wet places. The ability to resist cold and drought is relatively strong. It can survive as low as minus 20 degrees and as high as 30 degrees. It is mainly distributed on slopes with a slope of about 20 degrees, such as halfway up the mountain and sunny slopes. Resistant to drought, when the humidity is too high, its branches will grow. Although there is not much demand on the soil, it will grow more quickly in the weak acid soil with rich soil and good drainage.

2. Lighting

Hawthorn is a light-loving crop, but it has been said that it is adaptable, so it can grow in weak light, but at a slower speed. In the process of sowing to ripening, as long as the light conditions of Hawthorn are satisfied, Hawthorn will improve its own yield and quality, the fruit will be plump and succulent, the skin color will be bright, and nutrients will accumulate. Therefore, in the process of planting Hawthorn, if you want to improve the yield and quality, you must provide enough light to the Hawthorn tree.

3. Humidity

Although Hawthorn is more resistant to drought and waterlogging, the safety degree of soil water content is 9.34-11.66%, the wilting degree is 7.28-9.13%, and the lethality is 5.8-8.6%. Therefore, as long as the soil water content is maintained above 14%, Hawthorn can grow well and achieve high yield as long as it can be irrigated evenly. Although it is relatively waterlogged, it should not be planted in soil with high water level or poor drainage, otherwise it may lead to stunting.

4. Temperature

Hawthorn is more like temperature, but can not develop normally in high temperature areas; some quality is also extremely cold-resistant, in the case of 7-14 degrees can also develop normally, there are experiments show that Hawthorn can adapt to the lowest temperature of minus 34 degrees, can also develop normally. But Hawthorn in this low-temperature climate may cause frost damage. The temperature mainly depends on your planting area, the best temperature is about 12-30 degrees, this temperature can ensure the yield and quality of Hawthorn.

To sum up, we can see that Hawthorn is a relatively easy crop to grow. And now the market demand for Hawthorn is also relatively high, although Hawthorn does not have too many requirements for the surrounding conditions, but want to improve quality and output, or need normal management, after all, there are diseases in this area, the disease will be managed in order to better harvest.
