Many people like strawberries very much, sour and sweet, and taste very good. If there is a large strawberry field, whenever strawberries are ripe, the air is filled with the aroma of strawberries. I feel greedy. Today, we will follow the pro-farm network to learn the field management techniques of strawberry planting to make your strawberries grow better.

1. Growth temperature

The growth of strawberries has strict requirements on temperature. Strawberries can no longer live in too hot weather and can no longer survive in too cold weather. In hot summer, we need to use physical cooling to keep strawberries growing and the temperature is controlled at about 20 to 25 degrees. In winter, we need to keep strawberries warm by planting in a greenhouse to keep the temperature as balanced as possible. So that strawberries can continue to grow.

2. Water management

Strawberries like cooler and humid environments, and they are especially able to withstand drought, so we should always keep the soil moist. Generally, strawberries need to be watered every three to five days during the whole growing period. Otherwise, there is not enough water for it to grow. Yo, the road device needs the most water when strawberries blossom and bear fruit. If the moisture conditions are not satisfied, it may lead to falling flowers and fruits. It is also possible to deform the growing strawberries and make them taste worse.

3. Planting density

Strawberries multiply and grow constantly on the ground, so it is necessary to give it enough space to grow. If there is not enough space, then the yield will be seriously reduced. Generally speaking, the most scientific planting density is 30 centimeters and 40 centimeters, although the gap will be a little large at first. But after a period of careful care, it will crawl and grow all over the strawberry field, so a lot of new strawberry plants will appear slowly. If the density is too dense, you can also wait until spring to transplant the extra strawberry plants.

4. Fertilization treatment

When it comes to fertilization, let's first talk about base fertilizer. Laying base fertilizer is the first step in a good growing environment for strawberries. Generally, we use plant ash or withered grass fertilizer or even livestock manure, which is a very good base fertilizer. Secondly, there is a certain relationship between the late topdressing of strawberries and the results of strawberries harvest. Generally, the first topdressing of strawberries is about five to ten days after planting. The second fertilization is when strawberries blossom and bear fruit in the first batch, and topdressing is carried out after each picking. Nitrogen, potash and boron fertilizers are generally used.

5. Ploughing and weeding

During the growth of strawberries, it is necessary to cultivate the soil twice a year, because strawberries grow new roots and form new plants, so we usually cultivate the new roots of strawberries to make them take root. When weeding, we should be very careful not to say that strawberry roots are shaken, which will not only affect plant growth, but also reduce yield, and even lead to plant death, so we usually gently pull up weeds in the field when weeding.

6. Disease and pest control

Strawberry diseases and insect pests are most common around September in autumn, the main diseases and insect pests are yellow leaf disease, aphids, gray mold, red spiders and so on. The general method of control is to carry out control through pesticide spraying. (you can go to the local area for consultation on the use of pesticides.) do not spray any chemicals during strawberry picking, affecting the quality of strawberries.
