Cashew is one of our favorite nut foods, it is rich in nutritional value, can be fried food, but also medicinal, one of the world's four dried fruits. In recent years, its market has been in a stable upward trend, the market prospects are good, but also attracted a lot of planting, but it is also slightly strict on the planting environment, and not suitable for all environments, the following pro-agricultural network for you to bring cashew planting environment, let's take a look.

1. Temperature

Cashew is a tropical seasonal fruit tree, native to Brazil, is a warm-loving, sunny tree species, suitable for growth in the average temperature of 24-28 degrees between 25-30 degrees, growth is extremely rapid, normal flowering. It is not cold-resistant, but with the growth of the age of the cold resistance is gradually enhanced, when the temperature is lower than 10 degrees, one or two fruit trees will dry to death, more than three years of trees can be slightly cold-resistant, but regardless of the old or young trees, for temperature are more sensitive, especially in low temperature environments.

2. Light

Cashew is a light-loving tree species, in the sunny environment, growth is good, the number of flowering and fruiting are more, too insufficient light, long-term in a relatively hidden environment, will grow poorly, flowering and fruiting less. In Brazil, where it originated, the annual sunshine duration can reach 1500-2000 hours, so only Hainan or Southwest China can meet its sunshine duration, which can reach 1500-2500 hours per year.

3. Soil

Cashew has strong environmental adaptability, and its soil requirements are not strict. It can grow normally in arid and barren red soil, sandy soil or rocky mountain land, but its growth and flowering quantity are not as good as fertile soil. Like to grow in good ventilation, fertile loose, good drainage soil, avoid poor drainage of low-lying land or high salinity soil, half of the area below 400 meters above sea level growth results best.

4. Water

Cashew tree growth season in the early rainy season, so it is relatively large for water, sufficient water, rapid growth, with annual precipitation of 1000-1600 mm of the most appropriate areas, avoid perennial rainy season or high groundwater level areas, this will lead to long-term soaking roots, leading to plant root rot, the best plant death.

The above is the cashew planting conditions brought by the pro-agricultural network for you. From the above conditions, it can be seen that only Hainan, Guangxi and other provinces and cities in China meet the requirements in areas where cashew nuts are thermophilic, sunny and suitable for precipitation.
