Lotus Fruit is a new kind of gorgeous fruit that has appeared in recent years. It can be said to be a kind of fruit or a kind of medicinal herb. I remember that when I first saw the lotus flower, I couldn't help but feel moved, but the price was too expensive. But I bought one for seed. Although it tastes ordinary, it is still very popular because it is a new product. So the pro-agricultural network has brought you some points for attention on lotus planting. If you are interested, please continue to read on.

1. Choose the right variety

There are many kinds of lotus flowers, and the best one should be the black pearl from Taiwan. Most of the lotus flowers in China are produced in Hainan, and now they are also planted in many other areas, such as Guangzhou and other places. Because the growth conditions are not particularly satisfied with lotus flower, the yield is generally not high, and the quality is not as good as that in Taiwan. if you really want to plant lotus flower, you must choose a good variety. I think the resistance to red diamonds in Thailand is also good. Although the yield and quality of planting in other places will decline, it is still very good, so the above two varieties are the most suitable for planting.

2. Suitable planting environment

Lotus fog needs to grow in a warm environment all the year round, so the general planting temperature should be kept between 20 and 30 degrees, and the lowest growth temperature should not be lower than 12 degrees Celsius. If the lotus fog is light, the yield will decrease in the environment below 12 degrees Celsius. Heavy fruit trees will die because of freezing. Although the growth of lotus fog has no requirements on the soil, basically all the land can grow, but if you want the yield to be high. Then the land must be kept wet.

3. Reasonable planting density.

In general, lotus trees can grow to three or four meters high, and their branches and leaves are relatively diffuse, but the growth of lotus trees needs enough care, so the planting density determines the planting yield to a certain extent. therefore, we plant lotus trees with the most reasonable density, that is, five or six meters between each row and four or five meters between each plant. Secondly, if the density is not handled properly when planting, then when the branches and leaves of lotus trees grow very luxuriantly, we need to prune the branches and leaves of lotus flowers as appropriate to maintain the appropriate density.

4. Scientific fertilizer and water management

The fertilizer and water management of lotus flower is related to the year. In general, for underage seedlings, we apply fertilizer twice, mainly nitrogen fertilizer, phosphorus fertilizer and potassium fertilizer. At the same time, we should always maintain soil moisture and promote its branches and leaves to elongate. When we wait for more than three years of lotus fog, we mainly spray non-toxic organic phosphate fertilizer at flowering stage, and boron fertilizer and special fertilizer for strong fruit are mainly sprayed at flowering stage. After harvest, it is mainly regarded as preparation for the coming year, that is, to accumulate some farm manure, plant ash or organic fertilizer.

5. Effective pest control

The diseases that harm the growth of lotus flower are generally anthracnose, blight and fruit rot, and the main control methods are chemical spraying. For anthrax, we can use mancozeb wettable powder to spray with water. When the disease is found, it is usually sprayed every five or six days, and it will be cured after about two times. And the epidemic disease is also common in all kinds of plants, so it is relatively simple to spray with metalaxyl manganese zinc. Fruit rot is a very serious problem in reducing the yield of lotus fog, so it is necessary to prevent and cure it in time. The commonly used fungicides are amiceda, ether carbendazim fungicide and Baitai. The pest is similar to the fruit on the back, the most are aphids, so the effect of Bordeaux solution or imidacloprid is excellent.
