In recent years, the application area and amount of herbicides have increased year by year, saving time for farmers to control famine and weeds, but due to human reasons, improper application of herbicides has also brought adverse effects on production.

Improper safekeeping and blind misuse

Due to improper storage of herbicides, resulting in packaging label falling off or label corrosion, can not see clearly, herbicides are mistakenly used as pesticides, fungicides, or do not follow the instructions of the herbicide label, resulting in drug damage. Preventive measures: take good care of the herbicide to prevent the packaging label from falling off. if you find that the label is missing, you should immediately affix a new label indicating the name of the herbicide and the method of application.

Excessive dosage and concentration

The dosage and concentration of herbicides are more stringent than pesticides and fungicides. Each herbicide has a prescribed dosage. For example, excessive use of superstars can cause drug damage to wheat. Preventive method: strictly control the dosage and concentration of herbicides.

Improper method of medication

If the herbicide is not used properly, it will cause drug damage. For example, when many herbicides are applied, they are easy to cause drug damage when they are contaminated on seeds; when herbicides are sprayed near sensitive crops and there are strong winds, a large number of dewdrops drift on sensitive crops and cause drug damage. Prevention methods: according to weeds, herbicides, environmental conditions, choose different application methods, skillfully master the technical points of safe and efficient application of herbicides. Improve the quality of pesticide application, identify the parts of herbicides acting on weeds, make the time of application accurate, and choose to apply it in sunny days without wind, so as to avoid contamination to sensitive parts of crops or drift to nearby sensitive crops.

Blind mixed use of pesticides

The mixed use of herbicides can improve the weeding effect, expand the herbicide spectrum, treat diseases, insects and weeds at the same time, save medicine, and has the advantages of saving labor, time, money and so on. However, if blindly mixed, it will not only have no synergistic effect, but will reduce the efficacy and cause drug damage. Prevention: the chaotic use of herbicides is prohibited. The mixed use of pesticides should first do the mixed observation, efficacy and damage test. According to the experiment, the common varieties that can reduce the efficacy and cause drug damage after mixed use are: paspalum, organophosphorus and carbamate pesticides; 2, the mixed use of 4murd and methadone; the mixed use of grass and bentazon; the mixed use of dimethyltetrachloride and acid pesticides; the mixed use of propofol and bentazone will lead to drug damage.

The sprayer is not clean.

For sprayers that have used herbicides, if they are not cleaned in time and sprayed with other pesticides, drug damage may be caused. For example, after spraying dimethyl tetrachloride and 2mai 4murine D butyl ester, the cleaning is not clean, which is easy to cause drug damage to dicotyledonous crops. Preventive method: the sprayer that has used herbicide should be cleaned in time, the procedure is to rinse with clean water first, then rinse repeatedly with soap or 2% Murray 3% alkaline water for several times, and finally rinse with clean water. It is best to use a special sprayer to spray herbicide.
