Pesticide application safety is very important. Phytotoxicity problems often occur in agricultural production. The causes of phytotoxicity are complicated. In addition to the safety of pesticides themselves, many of them are caused by improper use, such as excessive concentration, high temperature application, flowering application, etc.

rational drug selection

1. Select the right medicine according to the control object.

2, give priority to the selection of high efficiency, low toxicity, low residue pesticides. Priority should be given to biological pesticides, and pesticides prohibited by the state should not be used.

3. Choose environmentally friendly formulations such as aqueous emulsion, microemulsion, water-soluble granules, etc.

safe formulation

1. Use the correct dosage. Use according to plant protection department requirements or recommended dosage on pesticide label. Do not mix pesticides at will, or increase the dosage at will.

2. Dilute pesticides by using the "secondary method". Pesticides diluted with water: first dilute the pesticide into "mother liquor" with a small amount of water, and then dilute the "mother liquor" to the required concentration; pesticides mixed with soil, sand, etc.: first dilute the pesticide preparation evenly into "mother powder" with a small amount of dilution carrier (fine soil, fine sand, solid fertilizer, etc.), and then dilute to the required amount.

scientific use

1. Appropriate medication. According to the occurrence period of pests and the characteristics of pesticide action, it should be used in the appropriate control period.

2. Use sufficient water. When some farmers use pesticides, in order to reduce the workload, they often add more drugs and less water, the drugs are uneven, the control effect is poor, and the drug resistance of germs and pests is enhanced, and phytotoxicity occurs when the safe concentration is exceeded.

3. Select good performance of the drug application equipment. Should choose regular manufacturers of medical equipment, regular replacement of worn nozzles.

4. Pay attention to the rotation of medication. Inhibit drug resistance.

5, add efficient additives: such as vegetable oil additives and silicone additives, can effectively improve the efficacy, reduce the amount of chemical pesticides.

6. Strictly abide by the safety interval regulations. Pesticide safety interval refers to the number of days from the last application to harvest, i.e. the number of days before harvest when pesticide use is prohibited. In actual production, the time between the last application and harvest of the crop (product) should be longer than the safety interval specified on the label. In order to ensure that the residues of agricultural products do not exceed the standard, they cannot be harvested within a safe interval.

safety protection

1, the application personnel should be healthy, trained, have a certain knowledge of plant protection. Old and infirm people, children and pregnant and lactating women should not apply the drug.

2. Check whether the application device is in good condition before application, and do not fill the liquid in the sprayer too full when applying.

3. Wear protective equipment. Such as gloves, masks, protective clothing, etc., to prevent pesticides from entering the eyes, contacting the skin or inhaling the body.

4. Pay attention to safety when applying drugs. Do not apply in rainy, windy and high temperature weather; apply when the temperature drops after 4 p.m. in high temperature season, so as not to affect the effect and safety; always apply in the windward position; do not apply against the wind; do not eat, drink or smoke during application; do not blow the blocked nozzle with your mouth.

5, to master the knowledge of poisoning first aid. If pesticide splashes into eyes or skin, wash with plenty of water in time; if headache, nausea, vomiting and other poisoning symptoms occur, stop working immediately, take off contaminated clothes, and bring pesticide labels to the nearest hospital for treatment.

6. Clean the application equipment correctly. After each use, the pesticide should be cleaned. Do not wash it in rivers, streams or wells to avoid polluting water sources. Pesticide waste packaging is strictly prohibited as other uses, can not be thrown away, to be stored in a centralized manner, properly disposed of.

safe storage

Minimize storage and storage time.

2, stored in a safe and suitable place. Pesticides should not be placed near or mixed with food, grain and feed. Do not store with seeds.

3, the storage of pesticides on the package should be complete, firm, clear label.
