1. Land selection and preparation

2. Sowing seeds to build a shed

If you decide to cover with film after sowing, you can start sowing before and after the Beginning of Spring, with a dosage of about 200jin per mu. To choose worthless taro, there are no cracks, no diseases and insect pests to sow. 3. Strengthen the management

After emergence, farm manure should be applied about twice, and in summer, taro growth trend should be properly applied compound fertilizer, which can promote the growth of taro root. It is necessary to loosen the soil and weed properly, remove lateral vines and heart leaves, ensure the permeability between taro, and improve quality and yield. We should also pay attention to the diseases and insect pests that are easy to appear in daily life, such as aphids and grubs. In the middle and later stages of bulb expansion and leaf growth, it is necessary to ensure the water needed for growth, and timely drainage in case of heavy rain to prevent waterlogging.

4. Mining and storage

The general harvest time of taro is in autumn and winter. When taro is ripe, it can be pulled out directly, the large and well-developed taro can be stored, and the stunted taro can be used for the next sowing seed. If you are not in a hurry to sell after harvest, you can put the taro in the cellar for storage over the winter. During storage, the taro should be covered by layers of soil, not more than one meter, and pay attention to ventilation and keep moisture. As long as it is not dry, taro can be stored for a long time without decay.
