Durian is the king of fruits, which contains dozens of times more nutrients than other fruits, and many people like it very much, but many people say that durian is very smelly, and even some people often use the smell of durian to tell jokes. But this does not affect the price of durian in the market, so the profit margin of durian planting is very large, even so, the annual output and demand of durian is not in direct proportion. The output is far from enough, so today the pro-agricultural network will come to talk to you about the matters needing attention in durian planting. I hope that the output of durian will be greatly increased in the future.

1. Soil

Durian is a tropical fruit, so the choice of planting site needs to be considered in many aspects, first of all, considering the climate of the planting site, as well as some other aspects of the field, then soil selection is also a very key point. Because durian needs more nutrients for growth, it needs to be selected in areas with rich soil energy, followed by good soil permeability and better drainage and irrigation system. Preferably, the upper part of the soil layer is relatively loose and the lower part is relatively thick, so that the survival rate of durian planting will be greatly improved.

2. Variety

Now there are many varieties of durian, but the best is Malaysian durian. one of the reasons is Malaysia's unique geographical location, and the second is that durian varieties have developed resistance to weather changes. so we need more local seasonal changes to select suitable varieties, so that the survival rate of durian trees with high cashier and quality can be guaranteed. Finally, the service life can also be extended.

3. Temperature

The growth of durian needs a lot of heat, so the temperature of the planting ground should be higher than the price. It is best that the temperature is relatively stable all the year round, and there is no particularly obvious seasonal change. The best temperature for durian growth is generally about 25 to 30 degrees. The lowest temperature had better not be lower than 10 degrees, otherwise the durian trees will stop growing or even freeze to death. Therefore, although durian is planted in some parts of our country, most of the reasons for its low yield and quality are affected by temperature.

4. Density

The growth of durian needs a lot of light, so the planting density should be very reasonable. if the density is too small, most of the branches and leaves of durian will be covered, and there will be no direct sunlight, so it will not bear fruit, thus reducing its yield. therefore, more than 80 durian trees can be planted per mu, and the planting density should be about 2.5 to 3 meters apart. The distance between each line is about five meters.

5. Fertilizer and water

The fertilizer and water management of durian trees determines the yield and quality of durian to a great extent. every year, when durian enters the dormant period, durian needs to re-apply fertilizer to ensure the yield in the coming year, followed by adult fruit trees. it is necessary to apply flower-promoting fertilizer and strong fruit fertilizer every year, these two fertilizers are the key to determine the fruit, we mainly use potash fertilizer and phosphate fertilizer, which can not only promote flowers but also achieve the effect of fruit protection. And strong fruit fertilizer is generally through spraying, mainly boron fertilizer, so that the fruit can grow more full, shorten the fruit period, and achieve the role of ripening.

6. Fruit thinning

As the amount of durian trees is limited, we have to knock down some of the fruits after the fruit every year to maintain the normal growth of the fruit trees. If you are reluctant, it may cause the durian of the whole plant to fail to grow normally, and most seriously, it may cause the fruit to wither due to excessive nutrient consumption. We must pay attention to knocking down the weak or deformed fruits from the fruit trees that have been hurt by diseases and insect pests. This is the most correct thing to do.
