The first method of postharvest pruning is to remove the overgrown branches in the crown, the upright shoots germinated in autumn, the sprouting strips near the ring cut, and the restrained branches reserved in summer. The second is to retract slender branches, senile drooping branches, mopping skills, thinning weak branches, ineffective branches without light at the bottom, and prosperous and long branches in the middle and upper parts, so as to reduce nutrition consumption, promote branches to be full, and buds are full, which is beneficial to overwintering. Clean up the orchard after harvest combined with pruning, cut off all kinds of diseased branches and damaged branches, saw and scrape off the branches suffering from rot, and properly collect and destroy them at any time, thoroughly clean up the residual branches, fallen leaves, and rotten fruits in the orchard for deep burial, destroy the hidden places of twigs, cocoons and rough seams, thoroughly clear the garden, eliminate the source of the disease, and leave no dead corners. Create a good ecological environment for apple production in the coming year.
